The removal of Pb(II), Cd(II), Cu(II), and Zn(II) from aqueous solutions using (un)modified Serbian interstratified montmorillonite/kaolinite clay as an adsorbent was investigated. modified by mechanochemical activation for different time periods. X-ray diffraction patterns particle size distributions were used to characterize the samples. Batch adsorption studies conducted optimize various conditions. equilibrium established within 60 min, maximum occurred in pH range 4.5–6.5. milled clays...

Abstract In this study the application of home-made unmodified (GC) and bulk modified boron doped glassy carbon (GCB) electrodes for voltammetric determination linuron was investigated. The were synthesized with a moderate temperature treatment (1000°C). Obtained results compared electrochemical using commercial electrode (GC-Metrohm). peak potential (E p ) oxidation in 0.1 mol dm−3 H2SO4 as electrolyte similar all applied electrodes: 1.31, 1.34 1.28 V GCB, GC GC-Metrohm electrodes,...

A sensitive method for the determination of six varying polarity pesticides (imidacloprid, acetamiprid, carbendazim, simazine, linuron, and tebufenozide) based on a solid-phase extraction disk with multiwalled nanotubes is proposed.A dispersion in surfactant aqueous solution (Triton X-100) was used preparation disk. The effect functional groups examined by applying temperature-programmed desorption. It found that this treatment increased amount oxygen treated comparing untreated ones....

In the present work cobalt ferrite nanospheres (CFO NS) were prepared via one-step, templatefree solvothermal method and used as a magnetic adsorbent of chromium(VI) ions. The synthesized materials characterized by X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission (TEM) vibrating sample magnetometry (VSM). XRD results confirmed cubic spinel structure CFO NS while SEM revealed sphere-like morphology with diameters in range 100-300 nm. TEM images showed that each...

In this study, the mass transport resistance in liquid‐phase microextraction ( LPME ) a single hollow fiber was investigated. A mathematical model has been developed for determination of overall transfer coefficient based on acceptor phase an unsteady state. The estimated from time‐dependent concentration extracted analyte while maintaining constant donor phase. It can be achieved either using high volume to ratio or tuning extraction conditions obtain low‐enrichment factor, so that sample...

Abstract Lutetium has been determined by differential pulse anodic stripping voltammetry in an acidic solution containing Zn-EDTA. (III) ions liberated zinc (II), which was preconcentrated on a hanging mercury drop electrode and stripped anodically, resulting peak current linearly dependent lutetium concentration. Less than 0.4 ng mL−1 could be detected after 2 min deposition.
