We present an effective approach for controlling chaos by using a differential geometric method. It has been shown that the proposed method can control chaotic motion not only to steady state but also any desired periodic orbit. The main characteristic of is algebraically transform nonlinear dynamics into linear one, so techniques be applied. To demonstrate feasibility our method, Lorenz system under different designed requirements illustrated.

A dynamic vibration absorber reduces the influence of a force whose excitation frequency nearly coincides with natural rotating machine. However, performance this type passive can be affected by changes in environment. In paper, we describe voice coil motor (VCM) that serve as actuator an active which regulated for different conditions. With VCM, suitable controllers designed periodic rejection using characteristics notch filter combination root-locus theorem. We have evaluated both...

The enhancement of mechanical properties in martensitic AISI 420 stainless steel is realized through the incorporation TiN ceramic particles using selective laser melting (SLM) method. This study introduces an innovative hybrid mixing method designed to uniformly disperse within matrix, ensuring absence agglomerations and contaminations feedstock for SLM process. Employing a combined approach involving Taguchi method, Grey Relational Analysis, Principle Component optimal processing...

This paper proposes an asynchronous steady-state visual evoked potential (SSVEP)-based hospital bed nursing system without training from the users. The proposed can be easily applied to any kinds of electrical beds and help user control attitude by only staring at flashing panel. Different most brain-computer interface (BCI) systems consisting commercial instruments, this study provides a total design solution. firstly presents light-emitting-diode stimulation panel induce user's SSVEP...

Dross formation in laser cutting of electrical steel sheet different environments, namely oil, alcohol, and air, was predicted optimized using a deep neural network (DNN) an improved grey wolf optimizer (I-GWO), respectively. Analyses random forest method response surface showed that the environment, power, pulse frequency, speed had significant influence on dross formation. In addition, oil leads to less than alcohol air. A stacked autoencoder combined with multi-objective employed generate...

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects laser spot size on mechanical properties AISI 420 stainless steel, fabricated by selective melting (SLM), process. Tensile specimens were built directly via SLM process, using various diameters, namely 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, and 0.4 mm. corresponding volumetric energy density (EV) 80, 40, 26.7, 20 J/mm3, respectively. Experimental results indicate that an important process parameter has significant surface roughness, hardness, density, tensile...

This study focused on the efficacy of employing a pulsed fiber laser in curved cutting thin, non-oriented electrical steel sheets. Experiments were conducted paraffinic oil by adjusting input process parameters, including power, pulse frequency, speed, and curvature radius. The multiple output quality metrics included kerf width, inner outer heat-affected zones, re-welded portions. Analyses Random Forest Method Response Surface indicated that frequency was most important variable affecting...
