Nopal is by far the most important cactus worldwide. Since its pre-Hispanic use for food and cochineal dye production, domestication of this plant was one inheritances left ancient Mexicans. Nowadays, nopal research increasing mainly due to many nutraceutical properties that have been attributed plant. Its potential against type 2 diabetes gaining importance which has related high antioxidant dietary fiber contents. Even more, consumption cladodes fruits associated with anticancer or cancer...

Parkinson’s disease (PD) is a progressive neurodegenerative with no definite molecular markers for diagnosis. Metal exposure may alter cellular proteins that contribute to PD. Exploring the cross-talk between metal and its binding in PD could reveal new strategy We performed meta-analysis from different tissue microarray datasets identify differentially expressed genes (DEGs) common blood brain. Among DEGs, we extracted 280 metalloprotein-encoding construct protein networks describing...

Despite significant progress in early detection and treatment, a few aggressive breast cancers still exhibit resistance to therapy. This study aimed identify therapeutic target for radioresistant cancer (RRbc) through protein network from genes evaluate potent phytochemicals against the identified target. Our approach includes integration of differential expression datasets create use survival analysis crucial RRbc order discover Next, sourced brown algae were screened molecular docking,...

Cognitive impairment is anotable complication of type 2 diabetes (T2DM), accompanied by reduced brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) in the brain and blood. Anti-diabetic drugs reduce hyperglycemia, yet their effect on cognitive improvement unknown. We aimed to investigate anti-diabetic regulating BDNF T2DM through computational case-control study design. obtained T2DMproteins viatext-mining construct a T2DMprotein network. From T2DMnetwork, metformin glimepiride interactomes crucial...

In the present study, a novel transformation protocol for Opuntia ficus-indica was generated by means of particle bombardment. The best conditions obtained were: 900 psi rupture disk pressure, 8 cm microprojectile travel distance, and 4 h exposition to 0.2 M mannitol. For all experiments, gold particles coated with 1.0 µg/µL pBI426 plasmid DNA were used. With these conditions, 23% efficiency in terms regeneration selection media (100 mg/L kanamycin) obtained. Interestingly, presence both...

Struvite is a biogenic mineral of low solubility. For many years, it has been considered as fertilizer, but due to the additional cost manufacture, its use limited only high-value crops. production by some bacterial strains have previously reported. However, this first study that reports struvite in Pseudomonas syringae pv phaseolicola strain. Crystal formation was observed within four days incubation on solid media. Microscopy, X-ray diffraction, Scanning electron microscope and Energy...
