We present a method for evaluating elastic properties of composite material produced by molding resin filled with short fibers. A flow the is simulated numerically using mesh-free method. After that, assuming that spatial distribution and orientation fibers are not significantly changed during polymerization, effective moduli evaluated. The developed micro-mechanical mathematical modelling aimed to process optimization which results in product quality improvement.
Introduction . Intumescent flame retardants are intensively used as passive fire protection means. Under conditions, these coatings foam and turn into coke, which turns ash. These products have various resistant properties. transformations possible due to the foaming process, whose kinetics determines protective characteristics of compositions used. The paper considers process in course pyrolysis four different compositions. classical triad was a thermally expanding agent for three them, it...
Abstract Graphite intercalated compounds (GICs) with different stage numbers are prepared chemically from highly oriented pyrolytic graphite (HOPG), natural flaked (FG) and nitric acid. Exfoliated samples (EG-T) synthesized GICs via water treatment followed by thermal shock. The aim of this work is to investigate the dependence inner EG-T pore structure on extent oxidation type processing scanning electron microscopy (SEM) micrographs cross sections. A procedure developed basis a deep...
A composite material based on expanded graphite (EG) and copper compounds was obtained by natural oxidation with 95% nitric acid, (II) nitrate granular carbamide addition further rapid heat treatment at three different exfoliation temperatures: 800, 1000 1200 °С. It found that the composition of containing depends temperature atmosphere thermal expansion. The formation oxides can be eliminated if is conducted in nitrogen Thermal conductive properties: diffusivity specific capacity...
