Launched on 5 June 2019, the BuFeng-1 A/B twin satellites were part of first Chinese global navigation satellite system reflectometry (GNSS-R) mission. In this letter, a brief introduction BF-1 mission and its preliminary results sea surface wind retrieval are presented. Empirical fully developed (FDS) geophysical model functions (GMFs) relating normalized bistatic radar cross-section to speed proposed for GNSS-R instruments. The FDS GMFs derived from collocated observations, European Center...

Enantiopure (S)-1-(4-methoxyphenyl) ethanol {(S)-MOPE} can be employed as an important synthon for the synthesis of cycloalkyl [b] indoles with treatment function general allergic response. To date, biocatalytic resolution racemic MOPE through asymmetric oxidation in biphasic system has remained largely unexplored. Additionally, deep eutectic solvents (DESs), a new class promising green solvents, have recently gained increasing attention biocatalysis their excellent properties and many...

Abstract Background Biocatalytic asymmetric reductions with whole cells can offer high enantioselectivity, environmentally benign processes and energy-effective operations thus are of great interest. The application cell-mediated bioreduction is often restricted if substrate product have low water solubility and/or toxicity to the biocatalyst. Many studies shown that a biphasic system useful in this instance. Hence, we developed efficient reaction systems biocompatible water-immiscible ionic...

A new land surface clustering algorithm is developed to retrieve soil moisture (SM) using the Global Navigation Satellite System reflectometry (GNSS-R) technique. Data from BuFeng-1 (BF-1) twin satellites A/B, a pilot mission for Chinese GNSS-R constellation, used SM retrieval. The core concept of cluster global areas into different types according properties and calculate type by type, based on linear relationship between equivalent specular reflectivity (ESR) SM. comparison results product...

Oil spill detection plays an important role in marine environment protection. The technique of global navigation satellite system-reflectometry (GNSS-R) has the advantage a short revisit time, which could help with timely cleanup oil pollution. conventional GNSS-R algorithm can resolve only dielectric constant based on power ratio measurements, while that water cannot be realized. This is because much larger than such range equation used inadequate. To this problem, we proposed new...
