Abstract A simple and convenient Ostwald ripening route to the morphology‐ phase‐controlled preparation of hollow Sb 2 S 3 microspheres is developed. The spheres are clusters smaller if orange amorphous colloid used as precursor, whereas, starting from yellow products regular spheres.
