Úvod a cíl: Cílem prezentované retrospektivní studie je na vzorku populace seniorů mladších pacientů porovnat úspěšnost implantací v bezzubé dolní čelisti. Metoda: Bylo hodnoceno 248 s 1240 implantáty, každý pacient měl pět implantátů. V souboru bylo 44 ve vyšším věku než 70 let (skupina seniorů), 204 (kontrolní skupina). Výsledky: Statistická analýza ukázala, že byla obou souborech srovnatelná. Závěr: Ze vyplývá, u nad můžeme implantovat bez obavy, bude dlouhodobá implantátů nižší.
