SUMMARY Permeability is a critical factor in evaluating the fluid flow capacity and production performance of natural gas hydrate reservoirs. The similarity electrical conduction hydraulic makes it possible to predict reservoir permeability using data. Clarifying relationship between resistivity sediments with different growth habits contributes efficient exploration development resources. In this work, normalized index models for grain-coating (GC) pore-filling (PF) hydrates are developed...
This study was intended to evaluate how citric acid influences the time-dependent rheological properties of magnesium oxychloride cement (MOC). For this purpose, parameters, setting time, electrodeless resistivity, crystal phases, morphology, hydration product, and compressive strength were investigated. The results show that addition can improve MOC pastes due retarding effect acid. dosages 0.15, 0.25, 0.35% stabilize paste in 1, 2, 3 h, respectively. prolonged stage by introducing free H+...
Permeability is usually considered to be related porosity. However, rocks with the same porosity may have different permeabilities in some cases, because of variations pore and throat size space connectivity. It vitally important understand effect on transport property. In this work, five sets regular network models six core-based are employed study permeability. Four kinds random distributions, i.e., uniform, normal, Weibull, log utilized generate size. Pore coordination number set two for...
This article presents a study to evaluate the performance of ecofriendly calcium sulfate whisker fiber- (CSWF-) reinforced asphalt mixture as sustainable pavement material. Asphalt mixtures containing 0.2 wt.%, 0.4 0.6 and 0.8 wt.% CSWF were designed by Marshall method. without fiber also prepared control samples. The test, wheel-tracking low-temperature bending water sensitivity fatigue test conducted mixture. And mechanism reinforcement was discussed. results showed that could improve...
This article presents a study evaluating the adhesion properties between asphalt and calcined bauxite. Limestone granite were also compared with For this purpose, bond strength, surface free energy, phase angle of aggregate tested. The chemical reaction mechanical asphalt–aggregate investigated using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) roughness test. results showed that higher alumina content bauxite, greater adhesion. ranked as follows: limestone > bauxite granite. Based on gray...
Hydraulic properties of hydrate-bearing sediments are largely affected by the maximum size pores occupied fluids. However, effects host particle on fluid-occupied within remain elusive, and differences in equivalent, incircle, hydraulic diameters evolving with hydrate saturation have not been well understood. In this study, numerical simulations grain-coating pore-filling nucleation growth different artificial porous media performed to quantify during formation, how change is analyzed. Then,...
Dissolved oxygen (DO) is the main corrosive substance in transport process of urban reclaimed water by pipelines, and it can be removed catalytic reduction. Activated carbon (AC) has been conventionally used as a carrier for catalysts. This paper focuses on effect modification conditions AC performance DO removal hydrazine. The modified (MAC) samples single combinatory methods investigated. results showed that method was better than method, MAC high-pressure hydrothermal followed metal salt...
This study aims to investigate the moisture and salt-erosion resistance of asphalt-calcined bauxite systems (ACBSs). The effects type asphalt, aged polymer modifiers, grade calcined on are evaluated by pull-off strength flaking rate ACBSs after water immersion neutral salt spray. results show that a lower asphalt is beneficial for an ACBS. Styrene-butadiene-styrene (SBS), antistripping agents, polyphosphoric acid (PPA) improve resistance, whereas rubber powder reduces it. Although short-term...
