본 연구는 비판적 담론분석의 사회과학적 함의를 바탕으로, 이 분석이 교육행정 및 정책연구에 미치는 영향을 고찰하고, 그 적용 가능성과 제약을 탐색하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해 가능성을 주제 설정, 방법론적 접근, 현장 실천의 세 가지 차원에서 논구하였다. 설정 차원에서는 담론분석이 교육행정과 정책 현상을 비판적으로 탐구하며 권력 구조와 사회적 불평등을 심층적으로 분석할 수 있는 제시하였다. 접근 다양한 학문적 배경을 통합하여 연구에서 유용한 분석 도구로서의 강조하였다. 실천 교육 현장에서 나타나는 해소하고, 보다 민주적이고 공정한 교육행정을 실현하는 데 기여할 있음을 논의하였다. 이러한 결과와 더불어, 설정의 주관성, 접근의 복잡성, 그리고 실천에서의 어려움이라는 제약도 함께 마지막으로, 연구 결과를 바탕으로 이론적 발전과 현장에서의 실질적인 적용을 위한 지속적인 연구와 협력을 제언하였다.
