Although cadavers constitute the gold standard for teaching anatomy to medical and health science students, there are substantial financial, ethical, supervisory constraints on their use. In addition, although remains one of fundamental areas education, universities have decreased hours allocated gross in favor applied clinical work. The release virtual (VR) augmented reality (AR) devices allows learning occur through hands-on immersive experiences. aim this research was assess whether...

Over the recent years, an increased alertness for thorough knowledge of anatomical variants with clinical significance has been recorded in order to minimize risks surgical complications. We report a rare case bilateral strap-like sternalis muscle anterior chest wall female cadaver. Its presence may evoke alterations electrocardiogram or confuse routine mammography. The incidental finding mammography, CT, and MRI studies must be documented patient's medical records as it can used pedicle...

The sternalis muscle is an anatomic variation well known to anatomists, but relatively unknown clinicians and surgeons. It localized superficially the pectoralis major can cause a diagnostic dilemma during breast surgery, mammography, computed tomography magnetic resonance imaging scans, as its appearance mimics tumor pathology of region. We studied presence longitudinally placed muscles in anterior thoracic wall 45 cadavers (90 hemithoraces). In 83-year-old white male, rare case...

Abstract Background This study is focused on the topographic features of internal branch superior laryngeal nerve (ibSLN) at thyrohyoid membrane area using as anatomic landmarks posterior border muscle and thyroid cartilage. Methods Thirty‐six fresh adult cadavers were dissected to determine topography branching pattern ibSLN artery. Results The prior membrane's penetration was divided into 3 or 2 branches, in 72.22% 27.78% cases. trifurcated more common than bifurcated both sexes sides...
