We have carried out first-principles calculations to explore the energetics and dynamics of Li in graphdiyne monolayers. The porous structure enables both in-plane out-plane diffusion ions with moderate barriers, 0.35–0.52 eV. A unique occupation pattern named as a triangular is identified, atoms occupying three symmetric sites triangular-like pores. Based on this pattern, storage capacity single-layer can be high LiC3, which twice commonly used graphite (LiC6). With mobility capacity,...

Dendritic organic heterojunctions with aluminum tris(8-hydroxyquinoline) (Alq3) microwire trunks and 1,5-diaminoanthraquinone (DAAQ) nanowire branches were prepared by a two-step growth process. The prefabricated Alq3 microwires act as nucleation centers for site-specific secondary vapor of DAAQ nanowires, resulting in the unique dendritic heterostructures. When trunk was excited focused laser beam, emitted light various colors simultaneously channeled from branched nanowires via both...

Singlet fission (SF), the conversion of one singlet exciton into two triplet excitons, may lead to realization high efficiency organic photovoltaics by generating carriers from photon. Recently, SF has been observed in molecular crystals rubrene. While orthorhombic form rubrene is most often under ambient conditions, metastable monoclinic and triclinic polymorphs are known. Here, dispersion-inclusive density functional theory (DFT) used investigate relative stability all three phases....

Rapid, highly sensitive, portable and low-cost glucose detection is crucial in the food industry, pharmaceutical field medical sector (such as diabetes monitoring). Since first-generation electrochemical sensors were born 1960s, this important has continued to be hotspots of large-scale research activities. For half a century, have been upgraded. However, third-generation still rely on oxidases reaction mediums, which brings out some limitations not yet fully addressed. During past decade,...

Computed tomography (CT) imaging is the most common modality for diagnosis and staging of gastric cancer. The aim this study was to prospectively explore ability quantitative spectral CT parameters in detection cancer its histologic types. A total 87 adenocarcinoma (43 poorly 44 well-differentiated) patients 36 with benign wall lesions (25 inflammation 11 normal), who underwent dual-phase enhanced examination, were retrospectively enrolled study. Iodine concentration (IC) normalized iodine...

Chemotherapy is commonly used in the treatment of cancers. However, mechanism action many these agents not well understood. We present synthesis a two-photon fluorophore (C625) and its biological application when chemically linked to chemotherapeutic agent (AN-152). By using laser-scanning microscopy, drug:fluorophore conjugate can be observed directly as it interacts with receptor-positive cell lines. The results this project visually show receptor-mediated entry AN-152 into cytoplasm...

Multiphysics characterization of transient electrothermomechanical responses multilayered stacked through-silicon vias (TSVs) is performed with a modified hybrid time-domain finite-element method. Temperature dependence most material parameters involved considered, such as electrical and thermal conductivity, the expansion coefficient, Young's modulus. Transient temperature stress accumulation processes are studied in detail for various copper, polycrystalline silicon,...

Temperature-dependent investigations of circular and square coaxial through-silicon vias (C-TSVs) are carried out in this paper, which can provide an effective solution to suppressing various couplings, such as intra- intersubstrate, crosstalk among multi-TSVs. An equivalent lumped-element circuit model is proposed for both C-TSVs, their parasitic capacitance values, per-unit-height distributed parameters, characteristic impedance <i xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML"...

Singlet fission (SF), the spontaneous down-conversion of a singlet exciton into two triplet excitons residing on neighboring molecules, is promising route to improve organic photovoltaic (OPV) device efficiencies by harvesting charge carriers from one photon. However, only few materials have been discovered that exhibit intermolecular SF in solid state, most which are acene derivatives. Recently, there has growing interest rylenes as potential materials. We use many-body perturbation theory...
