Using the data on coherent $J/\psi$ photoproduction in Pb-Pb ultraperipheral collisions (UPCs) obtained Runs 1 and 2 at Large Hadron Collider (LHC), we determined with a good accuracy nuclear suppression factor of $S_{Pb}(x)$ wide range momentum fraction $x$, $10^{-5} \leq x 0.04$. In small-$x$ region $x < 10^{-3}$, our $\chi^2$ fit favors flat form $S_{Pb}(x) \approx 0.6$ approximately 5% for $x=6 \times 10^{-4} - 10^{-3} $ 25% error $x=10^{-4}$. At same time, uncertainties do not exclude...

We argue that with an increase of the collision energy, elastic photoproduction ρ mesons on nuclei becomes affected by significant cross section photon inelastic diffraction into large masses, which results in sizable nuclear shadowing correction to σγA→ρA and reduced effective ρ-nucleon section. take these effects account combining vector meson dominance model, we upgrade include contribution high-mass fluctuations according QCD constraints, Gribov–Glauber approximation for shadowing, where...
