Stem cells have peculiar property to self-renew and differentiate. It is important control their fate in safe effective ways for therapeutic use. The mediators of essential polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs) namely Arachidonic acid (AA) Docosahexanoic (DHA) are known play a role haematopoiesis via various metabolic pathways [1]. However the direct effect purified AA or DHA on has not been well investigated yet. We reported that oral administration PUFAs enhanced mice [2]. Signaling...

In this data article we describe screening of various lipases for the regioselective acylation Andrographolide. Each lipase was screened with seven acyl donors. Amano AK from Pseudomonas fluorescens used synthesis two new acylated andrographolide derivatives. Two compounds, andrographolide-14-propionate and andrographolide-14-caproate were characterized by spectral studies. These derivatives showed more antimicrobial activity than andrographolide.
