Designing a green flexible alginate hydrogel as biomedical material is essential. Here, on the theoretical basis of weak cross-linking ability magnesium ions (Mg2+) and mechanical supporting role provided by calcium (Ca2+), we successfully prepared uniform dense magnesium–calcium sodium (MgmCan-SA) using soft spray. Results test showed that Mg2+ Ca2+ exhibit synergy, elongation toughness Mg3Ca7-12-SA were 140.11% 0.809 MJ/m3, which increased 37% 47% compared with Mg0Ca10-12-SA, respectively....

Abstract BACKGROUND: A new kind of adsorbent, magnesia‐amended silicon dioxide granules (MAS), has been prepared by wet impregnation with magnesium chloride solution. The physicochemical properties were characterized using X‐ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared (FT‐IR) and Brunauer, Emmett, Teller (BET) studies. porous structure high surface area these make them suitable for sorption. aim this study was to show the possibility defluoridation water MAS demonstrate advantage its...

A novel thin film composite (TFC) polyamide reverse osmosis membrane was prepared via the interfacial polymerization of m-phenylene diamine (MPD) in aqueous phase and 1,3,5-trimesoyl chloride (TMC) organic on a polysulfone ultrafiltration support by assisting with ethyl formate as co-solvent added phase. The is intended to form narrow miscibility zone, which leads thicker reaction zone. multi-layered loose structure larger pore size formed due zone lower content MPD. enhanced hydrophilicity...
