The presence of a neutron halo in 15C has been demonstrated several reaction experiments at intermediate energies. In the present study, dynamical effects this structure are observed for first time Coulomb barrier energies + 208Pb quasi-elastic scattering Elab=65 MeV, measured HIE-ISOLDE facility, CERN using high-granularity detector array GLORIA. A combined continuum discretised coupled channels and calculation describes data well significant coupling due both to breakup single-neutron...

The proton drip-line nucleus 17Ne is considered a good candidate for Borromean two-proton halo with 15O + p structure. Angular distributions of the elastic scattering and inclusive production 136 MeV beam incident on 208Pb target were measured first time at SPIRAL1 facility, GANIL. Use GLORIA detector array allowed high-resolution data over wide angular range from 20∘ up to 95∘ in laboratory frame be obtained. distribution shows similarities those both 6He 20Ne equivalent collision energies...

Although the cure for SARS-CoV-2 virus (COVID-19) will come in form of pharmaceutical solutions and/or a vaccine, one only ways to face it at present is guarantee best quality health patients, so that they can overcome disease on their own. Therefore, and considering COVID-19 generally causes damage respiratory system (in lung infection), essential ensure pulmonary ventilation patient. However, depending severity condition patient, situation become critical when patient has distress or...

Abstract The neutron rich carbon isotope 15 C is the only known case of an almost “pure” 2 s1/2 single-neutron halo ground state configuration. At collision energies around Coulomb barrier reaction dynamics expected to be dominated by single transfer and breakup. To investigate these effects, we have measured scattering with a 208 Pb target at 65 MeV HIE-ISOLDE facility in CERN (Geneva, Switzerland). preliminary data demonstrates presence strong long-range absorption pattern angular...

During the past years, ECOS working group strongly supported construction of a dedicated high-intensity stable-ion-beam facility in Europe, with energies at and above Coulomb barrier as part Long-Range Plan Nuclear-Physics community. LINCE will be multi-user to science: fundamental physics, astrophysics, nuclear structure reaction dynamics. Applied research is foreseen fields medical aerospace material sciences energetic heavy ions. The produce wide range ions, from protons (45 MeV) up...
