Aligned ultralong ZnO nanobelts with an average length of 3.3 mm and widths up to 6 μm (see figure) are synthesized on a metal substrate through one-step process. The obtained from this molten-salt-assisted thermal evaporation route show emission current density 1 mA cm–2 at electric field 2.9 V μm–1, resulting their high field-enhancement factor (1.4 × 104).
A highly chemo-, regio-selective, and efficient palladium-catalyzed deamidative arylation of azoles with arylamides, as an aryl metal equivalent, has been developed. The reaction proceeds smoothly to generate the corresponding products in good yields via a tandem decarbonylation-C-H activation.
An efficient and reusable Fe3O4-nanoparticle-immobilized-palladium catalyst was prepared applied to the direct C-2 arylation of indoles with arylboronic acids.
Excited state intramolecular proton transfer (ESIPT) within molecules in solvents plays important roles photo-chemistry and photo-biology. Herein, the influence of 1-ethyl-3-methyl-imidazolium bis (trifluoromethylsulfonyl) imide ([EMIm][NTf2]) 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium hexafluorophosphate ([BMIm][PF6]) on ESIPT 4′-N,N-diethylamino-3-hydroxyflavone (DEAHF) was explored. The density functional theory time-dependent methodologies were used. calculated fluorescence spectrum reveals that peaks...
Four linear dinuclear N-heterocyclic carbene (NHC)-palladium complexes {[PdCl(2)(NHC)](2)(μ-L)·xCH(2)Cl(2)} (1-4, L = pyrazine, DABCO) were synthesized through one-pot reactions of imidazolium salts, PdCl(2) and various bidentate N-heterocycles under mild conditions. The compounds fully characterized by NMR, FT-IR elemental analysis. Among them, [PdCl(2)L(Mes)](2)(μ-pyrazine)·CH(2)Cl(2) (), [PdCl(2)L(iPr)](2)(μ-pyrazine) (1), [PdCl(2)L(Mes)](2)(μ-DABCO) (2), elucidated single-crystal X-ray...
The oxidative coupling reactions of terminal alkynes with H ‐phosphonates were explored using SiO 2 −NHC−Cu(II) (5.0 mol%) as catalyst at room temperature under base‐free reaction conditions. a variety generated the corresponding alkynylphosphonate products in good to excellent yields. In addition, could be recovered and recycled for six consecutive trials without significant loss its reactivity. Copyright © 2011 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.

A copper iminopyridine complex has been immobilized on to a metal–organic framework (MOF) through postsynthetic modification of IRMOF‐3. The modified MOFs were fully demonstrated by using variety methods, and the structural integrity confirmed powder X‐ray diffraction (XRD). Furthermore, it was shown that IRMOF‐3 can act as an efficient solid catalyst for synthesis 2‐aminobenzothiazoles via reaction 2‐iodoanilines with isothiocyanates in heterogeneous manner. Moreover, could be facilely...
In continuing our efforts to develop economical and ecofriendly synthetic protocols, we present a proline-palladium catalyst supported on magnetic nanoparticles (0.5 mol %) for oxidation by molecular oxygen. The Pd shows high activity in the of alcohols into corresponding carbonyl compounds where easy recovery excellent recycling efficiency are observed. It is possible recover reuse grafted palladium catalysts at least eight times without significant loss its catalytic activity.

Based on the temperature-dependent measurements and numerical calculation, temperature response of photovoltaic parameters for a ITO/SiOx/c-Si heterojunction solar cell have been investigated in ascending sorting 10–300 K. Under unique energy concentrated photon irradiation with wavelength 405 nm power density 667 mW cm−2, it was found that short-circuit current (ISC) nonlinearly increased open-circuit voltage (VOC) decreased temperature. The good passivation ITO/c-Si interface by...
