A design methodology for input signals in identification of a nonlinear system is presented, using multi-level maximum-length pseudo-random sequences and priori knowledge the physical system. The criteria used here are process bandwidth relevant control, persistence excitation minimum signal length. numerical example illustrates application pH neutralization dynamics. performance compared with binary random signals, showing that effective synthesis, being advantageous experiments.
