The preparation methods, formation mechanism, properties and applications of carbon dot/inorganic nanohybrid materials are reported.
Beginning with Chicago Pile I, graphite has been used as a moderator material in nuclear power stations and is considered potential for use future Generation IV advanced reactors. The microstructure of responsible much its mechanical thermo-physical properties, how it responds to irradiation. To understand microstructure, necessary porosity at the macro- micro-scales; porosity, characterize morphological connectivity void content two main phases graphite: filler binder. Here, using several...
A facile synthetic approach to prepare environmentally friendly white fluorescent carbon dots (CDs)/ZnO quantum (QDs) composites through electrostatic force is described. This method can be used for fabrication of high-performance light-emitting diodes (WLEDs). The fluorescence emission spectra WLED devices covered a range from 425 nm 750 nm. WLEDs had CIE chromaticity coordinate (0.30, 0.34) and color temperature 7093 K.
Macroautophagy/autophagy is the principal mechanism that mediates delivery of various cellular cargoes to lysosomes for degradation and recycling, has been reported play a crucial role in colorectal cancer (CRC) pathogenesis progression. Targeting autophagy may be promising therapeutic strategy CRC. However, specific functions potential mechanisms CRC remain unclear. In present study, we discovered PTK6 (protein tyrosine kinase 6) could activate inhibit apoptosis. physically interacted with...
DExD- box helicase 21 (DDX21) is overexpressed in colorectal cancer (CRC) and positively correlated with poor prognosis the malignant phenotype of CRC. Functional characterization indicated that DDX21 promotes CRC metastasis angiogenesis both vitro vivo. N-acetyltransferase 10 (NAT10) a key regulator N4-acetylcytidine (ac4C) modification mRNA, regulating stabilization mRNA via ac4C modification. Here, we identified competitive binding sirtuin 7 (SIRT7), inducing overexpression NAT10....
Composite superhydrophobic coating built with film former and filler is attracting much attention for its facile convenient fabrication, but significant limitations disadvantages still remain. In this paper, a composite introduced which can be cured at room temperature made by dispersing modified silica nanoparticles 1H, 2H, 2H-perfluorooctyltriethoxysilane in fluorosilicone resin. Silica content dispersion time showed obvious influences on the morphology topography of reuniting dispersed to...
Alloy 800H stands as one of the few code qualified materials for fabricating in core and out components operating high temperature reactors (HTRs). Welding is a common practice assembling these components, however, election suitable filler material essential to enhance high-temperature creep resistance weldments applications. In this study, Inconel 625 Haynes 230 were used weld plates employing Gas Tungsten Arc (GTAW) technique. The tensile, rupture property, microstructural stability...
Abstract 2 vol.‐% TiO particles were incorporated into PET/PP blends with and without MA‐grafted PP compatibilizer. During extrusion of the PET/PP/TiO composites migrated from matrix to PET‐dispersed phase irrespective blending route. For PET/PP/PP ‐g‐ MA/TiO composites, however, location depended on sequence. The preferred nanoparticles was confirmed by SEM pictures taken chemically etched surface blends. observed migration behavior traced differences in interfacial tensions between PET PP,...
Abstract Uncompatibilized and compatibilized (polypropylene grafted maleic anhydride as compatibilizer) polyethylene terephthalate (PET)/polypropylene (PP)/TiO 2 microfibrillar composites (MFC) were prepared by injection molding of the pelletized PET/PP/TiO drawn strands. The morphology PET fibrils distribution TiO particles in examined. After preferential location is still preserved. Because reinforcement effect fibrils, tensile properties impact strength PET/PP MFC are improved compared...
Abstract Uncompatibilized and compatibilized (polypropylene‐grafted maleic anhydride (PP‐ g ‐MA) as compatibilizer) PET (polyethylene terephthalate)/PP (polypropylene)/TiO 2 drawn strands were prepared by extrusion of the blends cold drawing extrudates. In uncompatibilized strand, generated microfibrils show large aspect ratio wide distribution in diameter; whereas strand numbers short needle‐like formations appear demonstrate uniform diameter distribution. Derived from droplets, microfibril...
Micrographs of multiple nuclear graphite grades were captured using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and transmission (TEM), complementing the data contained in related manuscript, "A multi-technique image library microstructures historical modern grades." The SEM micrographs show differences among filler particles, binder, thermal cracks graphite. This serves as a baseline as-received material enables understanding phases between grades. TEM included this manuscript elucidate content...
