본 연구는 지역사회 노인을 대상으로 국내에서 사용되는 인지기능 검사인 LOTCA-G 및 MMSE-K와 MoCA-K와의 상관관계를 통해 경도인지장애를 탐지하는 데 MoCA-K의 유용성을 알아보고자 하였다. 50명을 한 각 평가도구들의 점수는 MoCA-K가 30점 만점 중 <TEX>$22.72{\pm}5.85$</TEX>, LOTCA-G는 104점 중에 <TEX>$96.28{\pm}6.82$</TEX>, MMSE-K는 <TEX>$25.08{\pm}3.78$</TEX>점이었다. 대상자들의 일반적 특성에 따른 점수를 알아본 결과, 세 개의 평가도구 모두 남녀 간에는 유의한 차이가 없었으며, 연령과 교육수준에 따라서는 차이를 보였다. 노인들의 치매 선별검사로 널리 사용되고 있는 신뢰성과 타당성이 확보된 MMSE-K LOTCA-G의 수행점수와 MoCA-K 수행점수 간에 높은 상관관계가 나타났으므로 MoCA-K는 인지기능을 평가하는 있어 타당한 인지검사도구라는 것을 확인할 수 있다....

본 연구는 전라남도 지역사회 노인의 치매 예방을 위한 통합인지중재프로그램 '스마트 뇌총총'을 개발하고 효과성을 검증하고자 하였다. 연구방법은 소재지의 치매안심센터를 이용하는 정상 및 고위험군 노인 107명을 대상으로 통합인 지중재프로그램 '스마트뇌총총'을 10회기를 적용하고, 인지기능과 우울 수준에 대하여 비교 분석하고 만족도에 대해 알아 보았다. 연구결과 인지기능 평가(CIST) 결과 총점의 평균 점수가 사전에 비해 사후 통계학적으로 유의미한 차이로 향상되었고. 한국형 우울척도 단축형(SGDS-K) 사전, 결과가 감소하였다. 만족도는 5점 만점에 4점 이상 결과를 보였다. 연구의 바탕으로 노인을 한 '스마트뇌총총'은 증진과 감소에 긍정적인 것으로 나타났으며, 다양한 프로그램의 개발 연구가 더 필요할 사료된다.
