Alive Antillean manatee stranding is one of the main challenges for conservation species in Brazil. In present study, data on recorded by CMA/ICMBio’s Wild Animals Rehabilitation Center from 1987 to 2015 were analyzed. The CMA and REMANE’s (Northeastern Aquatic Mammal Stranding Network’s) institutions have rescued average five manatees per year. Approximately 56% animals alive when rescued, 43.7% found dead. states Ceará Rio Grande do Norte highest records stranding, rescue, assistance...
