Purpose: The COVID-19 (coronavirus disease 2019) pandemic led to significant changes in clinical clerkships, including reduced ward rounds. We aimed determine how the pandemic–induced practice environment affect performance of medical students. Methods: analyzed objective structured examination scores third- and fourth-year students from 2019–2020 2020–2021 across six stations by Seoul–Gyeonggi Consortium. Clinical, communication, ability were measured using repeated-measures multivariate...
We examined the effects of Rhizoma Dioscoreae Tokoronis extracts (RDTEs) on plasma lipids, body weight, and lipogenic enzymes. Mice were administered a standard chow diet, 60% high-fat or diet with RDTE. that fed containing RDTE found to have lower increases in epididymal adipose tissue weights lessened occurrence hepatic steatosis than mice diet. The decreased adiposity was induced by accounted for levels tumor necrosis factor-α, leptin, glucose higher level adiponectin. administration also...
Medical school faculty members have been reported to be highly likely suffer burnout. Research is being conducted on professional self-concepts as a factor that relieves burnout in many professions. The Pt(II) dithiolene complex of a tetrathiafulvalene diphosphine ligand exhibits two reversible redox systems at close potentials, localized on the weakly interacting TTF (tetrathiafulvalene) and Pt(dmit) moieties.
The aim of this study was to ascertain the relationships between perspective-taking, empathic concern, and self-rating empathy as a physician among medical students. This analyzed questionnaire responses 152 students enrolled in Ajou University School Medicine, Suwon, Republic Korea, 2018. As measurement instruments, authors applied Interpersonal Reactivity Index (IRI) Korean Student Version Jefferson Scale Physician Empathy (Korean JSPE-S), then examined participant characteristic variables...
Tat activates transcription by interacting with Sp1, NF-kappaB, positive elongation factor b, and trans-activator-responsive element (TAR). Sp1 play major roles in protein-protein interactions at human immunodeficiency virus, type 1 (HIV-1) long terminal repeat. cyclin T1 the absence of Tat. To disrupt activation we fused Sp1-inhibiting polypeptides, zinc finger polypeptide, TAR-binding mutant (TatdMt) together. A designed or natural fusion was used to target key regulatory sites (GC box...

Objective structured examination (OSCE) was used measure competency. The OSCE scores November grade improved significantly compared May grade. The September sixth...
According to recent government's operating paradigm for the opening and sharing of public...
Abstract This prospective single-arm study aimed to evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of a refractive multifocal contact lens for correction presbyopia in 22 patients. The participants underwent examinations before 1 week after wearing (OptaCon ZOOM). primary endpoints were corrected distance visual acuity (CDVA) distance-corrected near (DCNVA). Defocus curve, contrast sensitivity, ocular surface disease index (OSDI) analyzed. A slit-lamp examination was performed analysis. Contact...
