Abstract Composites have gained acceptance in an extensive range of applications owing to their unique characteristics. But, machining these materials is often challenging due improved bonding between matrix and fibre when fillers are added. Since the machinability important aspect for any material its successful utilization, it essential analyse effect secondary phase on machinability. However, investigations polymer composites minimal. In this research, hybrid fillers, namely boron nitride...

A crystalline Ti2O1.3(PO4)1.6/TiO2 carbon-coated composite was synthesized by a glucose-modified hydrothermal method. It shows the highest reversible capacities, excellent rate properties and remarkable cycling performances compared to its counterpart prepared without glucose modification, particularly maintaining capacity of 233.9 mA h g-1 after 200 cycles at 1000 g-1.

Background: Tripartite motif-containing protein 21 (TRIM21), an E3 ubiquitin ligase, has been implicated in autoimmune diseases. Dysregulation of TRIM21 contributes to the progression human malignancies, but its role and clinical significance breast cancer remain unclear. Methods: The expression was examined by quantitative real-time PCR, Western blot, immunohistochemistry. determined using vitro vivo models. upstream regulation investigated luciferase reporter assay. Results: Here, we...

Monascus spp. and its secondary metabolites have been widely applied in foods medicines for thousands of years eastern Asia. Nitrogen sources are essential nutrients the growth metabolism Our previous study found that inorganic nitrogen (especially NH4Cl NH4NO3) promoted biosynthesis pigments (MPs) inhibited production citrinin. The objective present was to investigate regulatory mechanism on MPs citrinin by comparative transcriptional approach (RNA sequencing combined with RT-qPCR). Results...

Lightweight curved profiles are widely utilised in the transportation industry considering increasing need for improving aerodynamic efficiency, aesthetics and cutting emissions. In this paper, AZ31 Mg alloy were manufactured one operation by a novel process, differential velocity sideways extrusion (DVSE), which two opposed rams used. Effects of temperature (strain rate) on curvature, microstructure, mechanical properties formed examined. Profile curvature was found to be more readily...

Constructing nanostructures and configuring inhomogeneous wettability on substrates are two emerging promising enhancement strategies for nucleate boiling heat transfer. Nevertheless, the synergistic effect between them associated underlying mechanisms have not been thoroughly revealed at nanoscale. In this study, molecular dynamics simulations performed to deeply investigate impacts of layouts inner walls rectangular nanocavity boiling. To provide a comprehensive understanding, four...
