A kind of rubber nanoparticles, methyl methacrylate-butadiene-styrene (MBS), was applied into poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF) matrix to fabricate MBS/PVDF composite films. Uniform dispersion and good compatibility MBS in the were observed. We found that entanglement state between nanoparticles random chains PVDF could diminish gaps matrix, which is helpful for high breakdown strength. The film with 12 vol. % showed maximum strength 535 MV/m energy density 9.85 J/cm3, 1.7 times about 2.2...

A series of composites blending thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) with poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF) were prepared in this work to realize a high energy storage density. Low loading TPU (<3 vol. %) shows uniform dispersion state the PVDF matrix. We demonstrate that incorporation induces breakdown strength which results promoted performance. In addition, influence different hardnesses (65, 75, and 85) on TPU/PVDF was also investigated. Finally, maximum value up 537.8 MV/m at 3 %...

The distortion and uneven distribution of electric field in high-voltage direct current (HVDC) terminal insulator is the key problem for stable running power transmission system. Semiconducting flexible materials filled polymer-matrix composites with non-linear conductivity have also been considered to modify cable terminal. Several factors having influence on will be analysed this review.

In this work, composites with different flake-like WS2 filler contents were prepared, using ethylene propylene diene monomer as matrix. The nonlinear electric conductivity of at 25, 50, and 80 °C was measured, the mechanisms analyzed. It is found that exfoliation testing temperature both have a direct influence on composites' conductivity. inflection point coefficient are also low content (4.31 vol. %) composite started to show Direct current dielectric breakdown strength measured. thermal...

The reduced graphene/poly(vinylidene fluoride) nanocomposite films were prepared by the solution casting-thermal reduction process using graphene oxide (GO) and poly(vinylidene (PVDF) resin. With presence of (RG) nano sheets in nanocomposite, structure PVDF is transformed from alpha to beta phase, phase fraction its crystallinity are largely affected RG content. thermal stability improved introduction, with about 15 degrees C increase half-life decomposition temperature. RG/PVDF...
