Scoliosis is defined as a lateral spinal curvature with Cobb angle of 10° or more. This abnormal may be the result an underlying congenital developmental osseous neurologic abnormality, but in most cases cause unknown. Imaging modalities such radiography, computed tomography (CT), and magnetic resonance (MR) imaging play pivotal roles diagnosis, monitoring, management scoliosis, radiography having primary role MR CT indicated when presence suspected. In interpreting features it essential to...

Objective: To assess the feasibility of T2*-corrected fat-signal fraction (FF) map by using three-echo volume interpolated breath-hold gradient echo (VIBE) Dixon sequence to differentiate between malignant marrow-replacing lesions and benign red marrow deposition vertebrae. Materials Methods:We assessed 32 from patients who underwent magnetic resonance imaging after being referred for assessment a known or possible vertebral abnormality. The were divided into 21 11 depositions.Three sequences...

Background: The presence and extent of osteolytic bone lesions in untreated patients with multiple myeloma are important factors the staging disease, cases significantly influences decisions regarding therapy. Recently, fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography (FDG-PET) magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) have been used to detect marrow involvement myeloma. Purpose: To compare efficacy FDG-PET MRI for detection infiltration into spine Material Methods: Twenty-two underwent both MRI....

Skeletal muscle metastasis is a rare condition in renal cell carcinoma (RCC). We here present an extremely case of late recurrence patient with RCC who had multiple metastases 19 years after radical nephrectomy. This shows that soft-tissue mass known history even curative nephrectomy, particularly hypervascularity, must be regarded as highly suspicious skeletal metastasis.
