Advanced oxidation processes are one of the effective means for degrading tetracycline hydrochloride (TCH) in water. Using pickling iron sludge as raw material, an sludge-based catalyst was prepared through a two-step hydrothermal method, and catalyst/persulfate system established to degrade TCH Experimental data show that exhibits high efficiency degradation.
