Discrete implanted liver tumours in the rat have been exposed to arrays of 1.7 MHz ultrasound lesions. Focal peak intensities range 1.4-3.5 kWcm-2 were used for an exposure time 10 s. It has demonstrated that where whole tumour volume was focused beam, no evidence growth could be detected histologically. Where ultrasonic lesion array not contiguous, regrowth occurred. Preliminary histological studies confirmed this finding.

The causal relationship between vitamins supplementation and the risk of skin cancers remains unclear. We conducted a Mendelian randomization study to assess associations in general population. aimed investigate (A-E) with using utilizing linkage disequilibrium score regression (LDSC) (MR). selected genome-wide significant single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) linked vitamin supplements (A-E). Summary-level data for melanoma, basal cell carcinoma, squamous carcinoma were obtained from...

Background Varicose veins (VV) are a common chronic venous disease that is influenced by multiple factors. It affects the quality of life patients and imposes huge economic burden on healthcare system. This study aimed to use integrated analysis methods, including Mendelian randomization analysis, identify potential pathogenic genes drug targets for VV treatment. Methods conducted Summary-data-based Randomization (SMR) colocalization data collected from genome-wide association studies...

This article reports treatment of implanted liver tumors (HSN fibrosarcoma) with focused ultrasound (FUS). Experiments were carried out on in vivo. In order to determine the optimum conditions, various combinations exposure parameters investigated. The results showed that it is possible achieve total destruction tumor cells volume using an FUS system a frequency 1.7 MHz, situ ISAL 261 W/cm2, 5-s duration, and 1.5-mm separation, 266 10-s 2-mm or 213 8-s separation. Fifteen selected treated...

Recent studies have unveiled disrupted metabolism in the progression of cleft palate (CP), a congenital anomaly characterized by defective fusion facial structures. Nonetheless, precise composition this remains elusive, prompting us to identify these components and elucidate primary metabolic irregularities contributing CP pathogenesis. We established murine model retinoic acid (RA) treatment analyzed control RA-treated embryonic palatal tissues LC-MS-based proteomic approach. identified 220...

The excavation damaged zone (EDZ) of a high-level radioactive waste (HLW) disposal repository is key factor related to long-term safety. essence the damage evolution rocks development microcracks, which change ultrasonic velocity, suction curve, and gas permeability rocks. In this work, some granite samples with different degrees were generated by uniaxial compression, similar stress condition surrounding HLW tunnels. velocity was simultaneously tested during compression process. curve then...
