Volatiles of diethyl ether extract (DE), ethyl acetate (EE), and hexane (HE) Artemisia scoparia Waldst. et Kit. were analyzed by gas chromatography with flame ionization detector chromatography-mass spectrometry. In both DE EE, the main compound was scoparone (24.0% 86.1%, respectively) while in HE, alkanes dominant nonacosane as most represented (19.4%). Antimicrobial activity tested against 4 bacterial strains 1 fungal strain using disc-diffusion method. Tested samples inactive...
Headspace volatiles (HS) and hydrodistilled essential oils (EO) of fresh aerial parts Artemisia annua L. A. scoparia Waldst. et Kit., were analyzed by GC?MS/FID. ketone was found to be the most abundant component among EO (55.8 %), as well HS (52.1 %) annua. Additionally, in both samples, HS, ?-pinene (12.7 24.2 %, respectively) high percentage. On other hand, it has been determined that dominant components different; oil capillene (63.8 main constituent, while (26.1 (Z)-?-ocimene (23.8...
Melissa officinalis (lemon balm) has been utilized for centuries in traditional medicine its diverse therapeutic properties. This study explores applications and evaluates the pharmacological evidence supporting use treating various ailments. The bioactive compounds present M. officinalis, such as rosmarinic acid, flavonoids, essential oils, are responsible notable effects, including anxiolytic, antimicrobial, antioxidant, digestive benefits. Traditional uses of Niš District, southeastern...
Five Artemisia species (seven A. alba Turra samples and twelve of each four remaining species: absinthium L., annua vulgaris L. scoparia Waldst. & Kit.) from Serbia were studied the aspect essential oil chemical composition, potential correlations between composition with soil type determined using World Reference Base for Soil Resources (WRB). A great variety in was observed alba, samples, while case annua, as well scoparia, examined oils more uniform. Principal component analysis (PCA)...
Since the ancient times, people have used essential oils as a cure because they noticed their beneficial effects on human mind and body. What did not know was how these actually affected body, well exactly what component or more of them were responsible for activity particular oil. Therefore, lot attention has recently been paid to detailed identification constituents oil determination biological itself, those identified constituents. The aim this paper is systematize most used, accessible...
In this research composite based on zirconia and graphite was synthesized using the sol-gel method.Aim of is to activate increase photocatalytic activity ZrO2 by combining with graphite-based material. Our results show that we obtained material can remove both cationic anionic dyes sorption processes.Obtained very effective in RB19 up 100% removal.Photocatalytic higher than pristine GO goes for degradation about 50% MB.These are promising present an excellent base further research.
