Purpose: The relationship between idiopathic sleep-related phenotypes (SRPs) and sudden sensorineural hearing loss (ISSNHL) remains unclear. This study was designed to investigate the link SRPs ISSNHL from a genetic perspective through Mendelian randomization (MR) analysis. Methods: trials were downloaded Finngen database. UK Biobank FinnGen inverse variance weighted (IVW) method utilized, followed by confirming robustness reliability using MR Egger, median, simple mode, mode. heterogeneity...

Excessive Internet use is associated with a limited ability to communicate effectively socially, which depends largely on the capacity for perception of human face. We used passive visual detection paradigm compare early stages processing face-related information in young excessive users (EIUs) and healthy normal subjects by analyzing event-related potentials (ERPs) elicited faces nonface stimuli (tables), each presented upright inverted position. The P1 N170 components spectrum ERPs at...

Converging evidence has proved the attentional bias of Internet addicts (IAs) on network information. However, previous studies have neither explained how characteristics information are detected by IAs with priority nor whether this advantage is in line unconscious and automatic process. To answer two questions, study aims to investigate prioritize detection from behavior cognitive neuroscience aspects. 15 severe matching healthy controls were selected using Addiction Test (IAT). Dot-probe...

Individuals with Internet gaming disorder (IGD) show deficits in face processing due to long-term Internet-game social activities based on cartoon faces the popular online game "Strike of Kings." However, abnormal neurocognitive mechanism recognition and individuals IGD has not been systematically explored. This study used event-related potential (ERP) methods reversed deviant-standard oddball paradigm comprehensively compare four ERP components, namely, P100, N170, P200, mismatch negativity...

The effects of alcohol on pre-attentive processing have been well studied in the past decades. However, majority studies focus auditory and only a few examined visual processing. This study investigates automatic changes colour, location duration. We compared mean amplitudes amplitude decline ratios mismatch negativity (vMMN) responses elicited for small large image duration 12 individuals under influence placebo condition. vMMN significantly decreased condition as with condition, magnitude...

Abstract Internet gaming disorder (IGD) has been classified by the DSM‐5 as a condition for further study, and many studies have shown that occurrence maintenance of IGD automatic detection bias to cues individuals with may be significantly related. However, whether abstinence, common intervention method in behavioral addiction, can adjust its underlying neural mechanisms is unclear. In this we investigated effects 7 days abstinence from on bias, negative affect craving event‐related...

Abstract. High-sensation seekers are prone to search for changing stimuli. Pre-attentive processes reveal the earliest cortical change detection in response external stimulus changes. This study recorded mismatch negativity (MMN) intensity increments and decrements a repetitive tone high- low-sensation seekers. It was found that MMN amplitude intensity-decrement deviants larger than However, with regard deviant-increment stimulation, difference between two groups not significant....
