In this research, the microstructure and tensile properties of Cu–2–7 mass% Al alloys in α single-phase region on phase diagram fabricated by laser powder bed fusion (PBF-LB) process casting were systematically examined, their formation mechanism strengthening investigated. As a result, micro-fine cellular structures formed segregation due to constitutional supercooling rapid solidification phenomenon PBF-LB leaded high strength 0.2% proof stress, which much higher than those castings. It...

Pure copper is utilized as a material for products with complicated shape and high thermal conductivity such heat exchangers. However, it difficult to fabricate pure parts density by the selective laser melting (SLM) process. One of reasons considered be its which in melt pool rapidly diffuses away. Additionally, lower rate energy absorption fiber power makes size smaller. In this research, optimum fabrication condition high-purity 99.9% fabricated SLM process was investigated evaluating...

Through laboratory experiments of oil-in-water emulsification, we show that can construct a high-shear-rate mixer (precession mixer) by using the precession cylindrical container without any mixing blades. For mixing, with larger diameter and its faster spin are preferable so wall velocity becomes large enough. Then, emulsification is most efficient when set Poincaré number Po=Ωp/Ωs, which ratio rotation speeds, about 0.2–0.3. When Po smaller than these values, shear rates in get much lower,...
