A selection of 10 Chinese enamelled metal wares dating from the 17th–18th centuries (Qing Dynasty) was analysed on-site by mobile Raman microspectroscopy. These display cloisonné and/or painted enamels and belong to collections Musée du Louvre in Paris Chinois at Fontainebleau Castle France. Pigments (Naples yellow lead pyrochlore, hematite, manganese oxide etc.), opacifiers (fluorite, arsenates) corresponding lead-based glassy matrices were identified. One artefact also portable X-ray...

A complementary Y-shaped chiral metamaterial (CYCMM) is proposed for the realization of giant optical activity and circular polarization with strong dichroism (CD) simultaneously terahertz (THz) waves. It demonstrated that CYCMM can achieve 90° linear rotation around 2.13 THz a CD effect at 2.38 through full-wave simulations. The mechanism illustrated by simulated surface current distribution. Due to effect, useful development integrated spectroscopic imaging devices.

A selection of 15 Chinese painted enameled porcelains from the 18th century (Qing dynasty) was analyzed on-site by mobile Raman and XRF microspectroscopy. The highly prized artifacts are present in collections Musée du Louvre Paris Chinois at Fontainebleau Castle France. In enamels, pigments such as Naples yellow lead pyrochlore, hematite, manganese oxide carbon opacifiers arsenates were detected. glassy matrices enamels mainly belonged to lead-rich lead-alkali glass types according spectra...

Diagnostic and treatment delays increase the severity transmission of pulmonary tuberculosis (PTB). This study aimed to evaluate TB diagnostic in acid-fast bacilli (AFB) smear-negative patients. This was a retrospective observational study. Patients with positive AFB culture Mycobacterium complex (MTC) were selected from among hospitalised patients diagnosis pneumonia. Admission ward, anti-tuberculosis duration compared between smear-positive patients.Of 70 isolation MTC culture, 27 (38.5%)...

Abstract To prepare calixarene‐based polymers with proton transport ability, the calix[4]arene derivatives one polymerizable group at upper rim were first prepared via selective nitration, amination, and acrylamidation of calix[4]arene. Two methods, solution polymerization emulsion polymerization, then employed to carry out copolymerization these other monomers such as styrene, vinyl acetate, or methyl methacrylate. Transport experiments show that resulting have a very good ability protons....

In this work, a nickel-free Fe–Mn–Al–C lightweight structural steel for cryogenic application was developed. Based on the quenching-tempering (Q-T) process, samples were heated to 650, 700, 750 and 800 °C then quenched tempered at 200 °C. The microstructure evolution impact toughness of tested studied by X-ray diffraction, OM, SEM, TEM EPMA. is mainly composed δ-ferrite, martensite retained austenite. partition carbon manganese elements affected stability austenite in steels, resulting...

A novel fluorocarbon surfactant, N-propyl-N-hydroxyethyl perfluorohexyl sulphonamide, was synthesised by the N-alkylation reaction and nucleophilic substitution reaction, while sulphonyl fluoride used as raw material. Afterwards, acrylate monomer containing a short perfluoroalkyl chain, 2-(N-propyl sulphonamido) ethyl acrylate, prepared through alcoholysis with aforesaid surfactant. Thereafter, of fluorinated acrylic ester polymerised octadecyl 2-ethoxyl emulsion polymerisation, water...

Abstract Microencapsulation is based on multiple emulsion interfacial reaction technique that combines the characteristics of and conventional multiple‐emulsion processes. In this study, microcapsules were synthesized with water‐soluble dimethyl methyl phosphorate (DMMP) as core material acetal product polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) glutaraldehyde (GA) shell material. The characterized by using DSC, IR spectrum phosphorus qualitative analysis, factors affecting microencapsulation identified...
