The scattering intensities measured by small-angle X-ray (SAXS) experiment are generally recorded as a two-dimensional image data these days. converted into one-dimensional azimuthal average for the structural analysis. We developed GUI software, SAngler analysis with mainly PILATUS data. was Microsoft Visual Studio Express 2013 Windows and program language of C#, runs on 7 8.1 64bit. It can perform several basic SAXS after conversion from 2D 1D

Head-to-tail polymerization of tropomyosin is crucial for its actin binding, function in filament assembly, and the regulation actin-myosin contraction. Here, we describe 2.1 A resolution structure crystals containing overlapping N C termini (TM-N TM-C) 2.9 TM-N TM-C together with a fragment troponin-T (TnT). At each junction, N-terminal helices were splayed, only one them packing against TM-C. In C-terminal region TM-C, water coiled-coil core broke local 2-fold symmetry helps generate kink...

BL-6A has been operational since 2011 as a small angle X-ray scattering (SAXS) beamline at the Photon Factory (PF), and beginning in 2013 its old components systems, which were mainly inside experimental hutch, have extensively updated. Both vacuum-passes located between sample stage detector fixed surface plate replaced by new semi-automatic diffractometer. These upgrades allow simultaneous SAXS/WAXS experiments grazing-incidence (GISAXS) measurements to be conducted. The hybrid pixel...

BL-6A at the Photon Factory is new small-angle X-ray scattering beamline. The light source makes use of a bending magnet, and available wavelength, monochromatized by Johann type crystal monochromator, fixed to 1.5 Å. Various kinds detectors for SAXS WAXS experiments are installed in BL-6A, SAXS/WAXS simultaneous measurement system was also constructed. This beamline maintained measure various samples, such as protein solutions, fibers, liquid crystals well solid state materials.

BL-10C and BL-15A at the Photon Factory, which became operational in 1982, are some of oldest small angle X-ray scattering beamlines world. Recently, both were upgraded for two-dimensional (2D) SAXS-WAXS experiments. A wide-area imaging plate (IP) detector a fast-readout flat panel (FP) installed BL-15A, respectively. Preliminary experiments systems showed promising results.

BL-10C at the Photon Factory is one of world's oldest small-angle X-ray scattering beamlines. In Spring 2014, original beamline was scrapped and rebuilt as a equipped with new optical components an experimental system. Two detectors, PILATUS3 2M 200K (DECTRIS), were installed for SAXS WAXS measurements, respectively. Additionally, devices sample analysis such changer, heating/cooling stage, HPLC (High Performance Liquid Chromatography) SEC-SAXS installed. Moreover, control system tuning...

Protein crystallization remains one of the bottlenecks in crystallographic analysis macromolecules. An automated large-scale protein-crystallization system named PXS has been developed consisting following subsystems, which proceed parallel under unified control software: dispensing precipitants and protein solutions, sealing plates, carrying robot, incubators, observation image-storage server. A sitting-drop plate specialized for also designed developed. can set up 7680 drops vapour...

Microphase-separated structures in a polybutadiene-poly(ε-caprolactone) diblock copolymer (PB-PCL)/polybutadiene homopolymer (PB) blend were investigated by small-angle x-ray scattering (SAXS). Non-equilibrium spherical micelles observed at temperatures ranging between 60 and 100 °C. An SAXS profile with >60 peaks was recorded 140 All the peak positions good agreement theoretical Frank-Kasper σ phase positions. Thus, these results indicate formation of PB-PCL/PB

Robustness of the natural rubber (NR) crystal at high temperatures is important because vehicle tires are easily subjected to due friction. To understand robustness crystals in strained NR, as its plausible application temperatures, changes following structural parameters a function temperature were examined this study by conducting two-dimensional wide-angle X-ray diffraction measurements: lattice constants (a, b, c, and β), unit cell (volume, thermal expansivity, orientation factor),...
