Post-acute sequelae of COVID-19 (PASC, "Long COVID") pose a significant global health challenge. The pathophysiology is unknown, and no effective treatments have been found to date. Several hypotheses formulated explain the etiology PASC, including viral persistence, chronic inflammation, hypercoagulability, autonomic dysfunction. Here, we propose mechanism that links all four in single pathway provides actionable insights for therapeutic interventions. We find PASC are associated with...

Here we provide direct evidence that fibroblast growth factor 23 (FGF23), a phosphaturic hormone elevated in chronic kidney disease, is proarrhythmic. FGF23 acutely triggered ventricular arrhythmias and prolonged corrected QT interval (QTc) isolated mouse hearts vivo. also increased Ca 2+ levels muscle tissue. Blockade of the FGF receptor 4 signaling pathway using monoclonal antibody ameliorated arrhythmias, QTc prolongation, induced by FGF23, may represent potential therapeutic target disease.

Little is known about the pathophysiology of delusional infestation (DI), a psychodermatologic condition in which patients have fixed, false belief being infested with parasites or inanimate material their skin, despite lack objective evidence. Because some states, such as schizophrenia and psychotic state bipolar disorder been found to be associated brain structural functional abnormalities, literature review was conducted summarize available data on abnormalities that are DI.
Introduction
During ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography), endoscopists make an initial assessment of the major duodenal papilla (MDP) to determine optimal approach for common bile duct (CBD) cannulation and a safe limit sphincterotomy. Cannulation requires engagement followed by angular adjustment, step angle, attain deep cannulation. This angle plays important role in determining ease CBD A sphincterotomy should be long enough effectively open ampullary orifice...

Linear IgA bullous dermatosis (LABD) is a rare autoimmune blistering disease characterized by linear deposition along the dermo-epidermal junction on direct immunofluorescence (DIF). LABD appears clinically as erythematous polycyclic lesions in younger patients but can show considerable phenotypic heterogeneity older patients, often leading to misdiagnoses such pemphigoid, pemphigus vulgaris, Stevens-Johnson syndrome/toxic epidermal necrolysis (SJS/TEN), or other conditions. Cases of...

Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus (NPH) occurs when there is an accumulation of cerebrospinal fluid due to impeded flow or excess production, resulting in gait and memory impairment urinary incontinence. The authors present the case a 67-year-old male, who had symptoms for year prior being diagnosed. His neurological exam was significant slow, unsteady wide-based gait. No underlying cause his NPH found. He underwent shunt procedure following which he made complete recovery.

We previously reported that the hearts of same animals did not show vasculitis coronary arteries branches, or cells. Abstract Aim Distal femoral fractures account for 3–6% of all fractures. Current management distal involve reducing bone fragments and placing a locking plate against it. In this study, the surgeon used ‘selective approach’, whereby only key in comminuted fracture were reduced fixed whilst rest either removed or left unreduced/unfixed. Method All patients underwent AxSOS plate/less invasive stabilisation system (LISS) surgery their after adopting “selective approach” during pre-surgical...
