The comparative susceptibilities of colonized species A, B, and C Anopheles culicifacies complex stephensi were determined for 2 rodent malaria parasites Plasmodium vinckei petteri yoelii yoelii. About 200 cases of blue rubber bleb nevus syndrome (BRBNS) have been reported in the literature. The disorder affects both sexes equally and occurrence is mostly sporadic except for a few reports with autosomal dominant inheritance pattern.
