Objective— To report the effects of age and lifetime calorie restriction on development progression osteoarthritis (OA) in elbow joints Labrador retrievers. Study Design— Longitudinal cohort study. Dogs with brachycephalic conformation frequently suffer from stenotic nares. This study investigated the clinical effects of nares resection in shih tzu puppies using an amputation technique first described 1949. The authors hypothesized that surgical correction would result improvement nasal discharge/noise, breathing difficulty (dyspnea), and exercise limitations (exercise intolerance), provide a cosmetic result.
