Abstract Qingzhuan tea (QZT), a post-fermented tea, has been reported to have anti-obesity and anti-hyperglycemic effects, perhaps due bioactive compounds that inhibit lipase α-amylase. It is unknown what chemical constituents’ changes occur during the manufacture of QZT. The aim this study was determine secondary metabolites post-fermentation how these affect ability QZT activities During processing steps, levels their inhibitory effects on α-amylase were assessed. Changes in content...

Abstract Biochar is widely used in agricultural production because of its ability to improve the physical and chemical properties soil promote crop growth. In this study, a combination different biochar lake sediments were saline soils. The four raw materials, including corn stalk chicken manure liquefaction product (SMLP), rice husk charcoal (RHC) two types sediment (S‐1 S‐2), which was saline–alkali soil, respectively. most significantly effective applied on when composite conditioner...

Abstract This paper analyses and discusses the monthly annual changes of chemical oxygen demand (COD), total nitrogen (TN), phosphorus (TP) concentrations from main sewage discharge ports in Xiangshan Bay. Using monitoring data obtained 2010 to 2019, it systematically examines variation characteristics interannual fluxes major pollutants into sea. The COD, TN, TP, which were relatively high November January-March, generally declined. fluctuated, but flux sea decreased. ecological environment...

Gelation is a critical property of citrus pectin. However, the roles played by neutral sugar side-chains on acid-induced pectin gelation remain poorly understood. Herein, galactan- or/and arabinan-eliminated pectins (P-G, P-A, and P-AG) were used to investigate effects gelation. The gel hardness values pectin, P-G, P-AG 42.6, 39.9, 5.3, 2.1 g, respectively, suggesting that arabinan contributed more than galactan. We next found branches promoted chain entanglement effectively backbones....

Volatile constituents are critical to the flavor of tea, but changes in Enshi Yulu tea during processing have not been clearly understood. Using headspace solid phase microextraction combined with gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (HS-SPME/GC-MS) techniques, we analyze aroma components and them stages. In total, 242 volatile compounds were identified. From fresh leaves shaping process production, there significant decreases overall substances, followed by increases after drying. Linalool...

Abstract: Corn stalk is a potential biological resource and should be handled properly. Otherwise, it not only wastes resources but also causes environmental pollution. Subcritical water was used to extract lumpy corn at 190 ℃, 210 230 250 270 ℃ respectively, the aqueous solution extracted after treatment. liquefied liquid (CWS) analyzed by GC-MS for its chemical components, antifungal activity studied bioassay.
