Preparation of low resistance indium tin oxide (ITO) films on large scale glass substrate has been studied for architectural applications. Coatings were carried out by a plasma enhanced deposition technique using sintered ITO pellets as the starting material and high rate more than 4000 Å/min was achieved. Scanning tunneling microscopy observation revealed that surface morphology thick (about 1 μm) film strongly dependent temperature. Crystallinity electrical properties also temperature...
Abstract Background We developed a fully automatic three-dimensional knee MRI analysis software that can quantify meniscus extrusion and cartilage measurements, including the projected area ratio (PCAR), which represents of subject’s actual to their ideal area. also collected 3D data from 561 volunteers (aged 30–79 years) “Kanagawa Knee Study.” Our purposes were verify accuracy for segmentation using examine relationship between medial measurements Kanagawa Study data. Methods constructed...
The positional relationship between cartilage defects and the meniscus is poorly understood for osteoarthritis of knee. Our purpose was to clarify how extend their association with location during progression. subjects were women in 70 s who registered Kanagawa Knee Study. We obtained 3D MRI images tibial surfaces menisci area ratios < 0.95 examined morphological medial (MM) by viewing according ratio at region. Of 561 Study subjects, 45 included analyses, 11 had a tibia. Significant...
We have developed 3-dimensional (3D) magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) analysis software that allows measurement of the projected cartilage area ratio with a particular thickness intended to allow quantitation in knee. Our aims this study were validate both pig and human knees examine patients reporting knee pain. After 3D MRI reconstruction, femoral was onto flat surface. The determined using our software, compared obtained other software. (for ≥1.5 mm) at 4 segments also validated knees....
BackgroundWe have developed a fully automatic three-dimensional MRI analysis software program for segmentation of knee cartilage using deep neural network. The purpose this study was to use clarify the interscan measurement error thickness and projected area ratio at 9 regions 45 subregions in knee.MethodsTen healthy volunteers underwent twice same day. provided (thickness ≥ 1.5 mm) without any manual correction. calculated each region subregion from data nine donors, except one donor who...
Abstract The relationship between various mechanical properties of evaporated indium tin oxide (ITO) films has been investigated. hardness and internal stress were found to be correlated. This correlation can expressed as a linear expression similar that reported for bulk material. strength adhesion the substrate was observed related stress. also could well interpreted quantitatively by assuming stored elastic energy in ITO constant during peeling. coefficient kinetic friction not any...
There have been no studies investigating three-dimensional (3D) alteration of the coracohumeral distance (CHD) associated with shoulder motion. The aim this study was to investigate change 3D-CHD arm in flexion/internal rotation and horizontal adduction. Six intact shoulders four healthy volunteers were obtained for study. MRI taken positions: internal at 0°, 45°, 90° flexion, flexion maximum Using a motion analysis system, 3D models coracoid process proximal humerus created from data. CHD...
We have measured the adhesion strengths of metal oxide and nitride thin films reactively sputtered onto glass substrates using a specially devised direct pull-off test. For double-layer coatings such as (CrNx, TiNx)/metal (Al2O3, SnO2, Ta2O5, TiO2, ZnO, ZrO2)/glass, separation usually took place at nitride/oxide interface. The strength interface was found to depend on chemical bonding in concerned: for same top layer, increased metal-oxygen (M-O) bond underlayer decreased. X-ray...

This study proposes a modular platform to improve the adoption of gamification in conventional physical rehabilitation programs. The effectiveness is correlated patient’s adherence program. can be diminished due factors such as motivation, feedback, and isolation. Gamification means adding game-like elements traditionally non-game activity. has been shown effective providing more engaging experience improving adherence. made three main parts; central hardware hub, various wired wireless...
Arm cycling has been proven to be an effective exercise for stroke rehabilitation. It strengthens the upper body, improves arm control, and can aid in restoring walking abilities. Promoting engagement of paretic is crucial, tailoring load accommodate limitations side a practical approach encourage safe use this arm. We propose that modulation based on EMG activity weaker side. This work assesses feasibility implementing with asymmetric loading modulated by proposes device design. conducted...
The meniscus coverage ratio is an important factor in knee osteoarthritis. calculated by our software, which automatically segments and cartilage regions from MR images, correlates with measurements. However, the significance of changes questionable due to possible intermeasurement error during sequential observations. purpose this study was show interscan measurement errors meniscal measurements, especially ratio. Ten healthy volunteers had two 3.0T MRI examinations on same day. We...
