Introduction: In this study, pure and cobalt manganese-doped ZnO nanoparticles (Zn(1-x-y)MnxCoyO NPs) at varying concentrations were synthesized through sol-gel method, zinc acetate dihydrate, manganese nitrate, acetate, diethyl amine used as precursors, with samples finally calcined 700oC. Method: The hexagonal wurtzite structure of co-doped NPs was confirmed by X-ray diffraction (XRD). computed grain sizes NPs, according to Scherrer's formula, 32 nm, 32.5 36.3 36.5 respectively. Alternaria leaf blotch (ALS) or fruit spot (AFS) on apple is a serious disease in temperate parts of the world. To determine distribution causal pathogen, field survey was carried out orchards Loralai district, Balochistan province, Pakistan during 2016. Characteristic symptoms irregular purplish-brown spots (1.5–4 cm diam.) were observed infected leaves as well 6-year-old trees. Representative isolates alternata identified according to their preliminary morphological features and...
Weather variables were characterized for the powdery mildew disease caused by Sphaerotheca fuliginea on pumpkin crop. The relationship between airborne conidia and incidence of was studied. Disease data recorded weekly basis correlated with prevailing environmental conditions. All factors showed positive except wind speed that exhibited negative correlation. Understanding favorable environment is helpful to use appropriate management approaches.
