Abstract LASER induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) has been used for the quantitative analysis of Cu–Ni alloy known composition (75% Cu, 25% Ni) using one line calibration free-LIBS (OLCF-LIBS), self-calibration-LIBS (SC-LIBS), free LIBS (CF-LIBS), time flight-mass (TOF-MS), energy dispersive X-ray (EDX) and fluorescence (XRF). For LIBS-based studies, plasma was generated by focusing beam a Q-switched Nd:YAG laser (532 nm, pulse about 200 mJ, 5 ns duration) while sample placed in air at an...
Introduction: In this study, pure and cobalt manganese-doped ZnO nanoparticles (Zn(1-x-y)MnxCoyO NPs) at varying concentrations were synthesized through sol-gel method, zinc acetate dihydrate, manganese nitrate, acetate, diethyl amine used as precursors, with samples finally calcined 700oC. Method: The hexagonal wurtzite structure of co-doped NPs was confirmed by X-ray diffraction (XRD). computed grain sizes NPs, according to Scherrer's formula, 32 nm, 32.5 36.3 36.5 respectively. SEM...

We present an efficient and inexpensive method for calculating the time resolved emission spectrum from integrated by monitoring evolution of neutral singly ionized species in laser produced plasma. To validate our assertion extracting information spectrum, data Cu II line at 481.29 nm molecular bands AlO wavelength region (450–550 nm) have been studied. The plasma parameters were also estimated spectra. A comparison results clearly reveals that about can be extracted spectra registered with...
Qualitative and quantitative analysis of the raw granite rocks acquired from deposits in Hunza district, Gilgit area Pakistan were studied using laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) laser ablation time-of-flight mass spectrometry (LA-TOF-MS). The optical emission spectra used artificial jewelry for flooring tiles show lines (Si, Ca, K, Fe, Mg, Al, Na, Li) Ti, Ba, Li), respectively. these also with LA-TOF-MS, revealing analogous elemental compositions. results obtained LIBS LA-TOF-MS...
Abstract Transition metals, such as chromium (Cr) and manganese (Mn) doped zinc oxide (ZnO) magnetic nanoparticles, were synthesized via sole gel auto-combustion method. The prepared (Zn 1−(x+y) Mn x Cr y O, where x, = 0, 0.02, 0.075) nanoparticles calcined in an oven at 6000 °C for 2 hours. morphologies of the investigated using different techniques. X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis revealed that hexagonal wurtzite structure was unaffected by doping concentration. crystallite size measured...
Magnetic correlations in paramagnetic CuMn alloys containing up to 10 at.% Mn measured using neutron polarization analysis are compared with the predictions of RKKY interaction and found agree accuracy measurements. This implies a ferromagnetic first neighbour interaction. The susceptibility decreases atomic short-range order increases 1 alloy on annealing at 100 degrees C. low temperature magnetic is described more closely by cluster model Beck (1972) than Klein Briut (1963).

In this paper, we have addressed the phytoremediation, ability to absorb heavy metals, of Euphorbia indica plant by detecting metals in its roots, stem and leaves using laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS) laser ablation time-of-flight mass spectrometry (LA-TOF-MS).
The vanadium dioxide (VO 2 ) thin films were deposited on silicon (100) substrate using the pulsed laser deposition technique. at different temperatures (500°C, 600°C, 700°C, and 800°C) while keeping all other parameters constant. X‐ray diffraction confirmed crystalline VO (B) (M) phase formation temperatures. photoelectron spectroscopy analysis showed presence of V 4+ 5+ charge states in which confirms that mainly consist O 5 . An increase /V ratio has been observed higher (700°C 800°C)....
In this paper we present the construction and modification of a linear time-of-flight mass spectrometer to improve its resolution. This system consists laser ablation/ionization section based on Q-switched Nd:YAG (532 nm, 500 mJ, 5 ns pulse duration) integrated with one meter coupled an electric sector magnetic lens outfitted channeltron electron multiplier for ion detection. The resolution has been improved by optimizing accelerating potential inserting after extraction region. isotopes...
The current study is based on Zn/ZnO nanoparticles photodynamic therapy (PDT) mediated effects healthy liver cells and cancerous cells. synthesis of was accomplished using chemical hydrothermal methods. characterization the synthesized carried out manifold techniques (e.g., transmission electron microscopy (TEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS)). In order to biotoxicity grown nanoparticles, they were applied individually in conjunction with third generation...
The purpose of the present work was to monitor reliability calibration-free laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (CF-LIBS) by comparing results with inductively coupled plasma - mass spectrometry (ICP-MS). For laser ablation studies, generated a Q-switched Nd: YAG laser, and emission spectra alloy sample were recorded using set Avantes spectrometers covering wavelength region from 250 870 nm. Optical confirmed that copper iron are major constituents while traces sodium magnesium also...
