Purpose: Nurses are undertaking considerable emotional and physical work, which may lead to unrecoverable fatigue. This study aimed evaluate the level of chronic fatigue explore its associated factors among Chinese nurses in hope providing scientific evidence for fatigue-reduction strategies. Methods: cross-sectional was carried out Liaoning Province, China 2018. The recruited 700 collected 566 effective respondents. Chronic fatigue, demographic factors, job conditions, intelligence were...

Alzheimer's disease (AD) is characterized by amyloid-β (Aβ) related imbalance, Tau-hyperphosphorylation, and neuroinflammation, in which Aβ neuroinflammation can induce brain insulin resistance (IR). Gut microbiome disorder correlated with inflammation AD. As of yet, there are no effective treatments clinically. Thus, it focused on the potential benefit quercetin-3-O-glucuronide (Q3G), a pharmacologically active flavonol glucuronide, AD treatment regulating IR gut microbiome.

White matter hyperintensities (WMH) are imaging manifestations frequently observed in various neurological disorders, yet the clinical application of WMH quantification is limited. In this study, we designed a series dedicated labeling protocols and proposed convolutional neural network named 2D VB-Net for segmentation other coexisting intracranial lesions based on large dataset 1,045 subjects across demographics multiple scanners using thick-slice that more commonly applied practice. Using...

Background: As experts studying occupational health psychology know, low level of work engagement leads to higher turnover intentions. Some researchers have put a focus on the association between organizational support and engagement. However, little has been done concerning mediating effect psychological capital (PsyCap) perceived (POS) (vigor, dedication, absorption) among Chinese doctors. Materials methods: A cross-sectional study carried out from November December in 2017, Liaoning...

Abstract Aims Chronic fatigue syndrome is an agnogenic disease worldwide. Nurses are at a high risk of chronic syndrome. However, no research has been done to examine the associations workplace violence, organizational support, and occupational stress with among Chinese nurses. This study aimed effects these factors on in this group. Design Cross‐sectional. All participants voluntarily completed questionnaire survey. Methods The was conducted Liaoning province from December 2017–January...

The combined association of triglyceride-glucose (TyG) index and different systolic blood pressure (SBP) levels with all-cause cardiovascular mortality among the general population remains unclear. In this study, 6245 individuals were from National Health Nutrition Examination Survey (1999-2002). study endpoints mortality. Multivariate Cox proportional hazards regression models used to explore TyG SBP mortality.During a mean follow-up period 66.8 months, total 284 deaths (331/100000...

Abstract Background Sedentary behavior and vitamin D deficiency are independent risk factors for mortality in cancer survivors, but their joint association with has not been investigated. Methods We analyzed data from 2914 survivors who participated the National Health Nutrition Examination Survey (2007–2018) followed up them until December 31, 2019. was assessed by self-reported daily hours of sitting, status measured serum total 25-hydroxyvitamin (25(OH)D) levels. Results Among more...

Brassica juncea is an important dietary vegetable cultivated and consumed in China for its edible stalks leaves. The purple leaf mustard, which rich anthocyanins, eye-catching delivers valuable nutrition. However, the molecular mechanism involved anthocyanin biosynthesis has not been well studied B. juncea. Here, histological transcriptome analyses were used to characterize color gene expression profiles. Free-hand section analysis showed that was mainly accumulated adaxial epidermal cells....

We applied an MRI technique diffusion tensor imaging along the perivascular space (DTI-ALPS) for assessing glymphatic system (GS) in a genome-wide association study (GWAS) and phenome-wide (PheWAS) of 40,486 European individuals. Exploratory analysis revealed 17 genetic loci significantly associating with regional DTI-ALPS index. found 58 genes, including SPPL2C EFCAB5 , which prioritized index subtypes associated neurodegenerative diseases.
