A sample of 26 HIV seronegative, 59 seropositive asymptomatic and 7 symptomatic homosexual bisexual men were assessed over two visits, a mean 11 months apart, using the BDI, STAI, CIS. Significant differences emerged between group other groups. Past psychiatric history somatic items in assessments accounted for some these differences.
