A novel potentially tridentate N-heterocyclic carbene (NHC) precursor, anionic salicylaldimine-functionalized imidazolium bromide, [3,5-tBu2-2-(HO)C6H2CHNCH2CH2(CH{NCHCHNiPr})Br] (HL·HBr, 2), was designed. The reaction of in situ-generated monoanionic salicylaldiminato-functionalized NHC LNa with Ni(PPh3)2Br2 affords a mono-ligand Ni(II) [3,5-tBu2-2-(O)C6H2CHNCH2CH2(C{NCHCHNiPr})]NiBr (LNiBr, 3), good yield. Complex 3 can also be synthesized by the direct nickelocene (Cp)2Ni or bis-indenyl...
The reaction of 1,3-bis(2,6-diisopropylphenyl)imidazol-2-ylidene (IPr) with one equivalent a novel imidazolium salt iron(II), [FeBr3(C4H8O)](HIPr)·C4H8O (1), afforded the anionic iron(II) complex bearing an N-heterocyclic carbene ligand [Fe(IPr)Br3](HIPr)·C7H8 (2), which shows extremely high activity in comparison other iron(II)-based precatalysts cross-coupling 4-tolylmagnesium bromide cyclohexyl bromide.
The Cu-catalyzed three-component reaction between quinolines, diazo compounds, and alkenes has been established for direct construction of indolizine derivatives via quinolinium ylides. This methodology is distinguished by the use a commercially inexpensive catalyst readily available starting materials, wide substrate scope, operational simplicity.
The first nickel-catalyzed, magnesium-mediated reductive cross-coupling between benzyl chlorides and aryl or fluorides is reported. A variety of diarylmethanes can be prepared in good to excellent yields a one-pot manner using easy-to-access mixed PPh3/NHC Ni(II) complexes Ni(PPh3)(NHC)Br2 (NHC = 1,3-bis(2,6-diisopropylphenyl)imidazol-2-ylidene, IPr, 1a; 1,3-di-tert-butylimidazol-2-ylidene, ItBu, 1b) as catalyst precursors. Activation polychloroarenes chemoselective based on the difference...
Effective molarity (EM) is a key parameter that determines the efficiency of range supramolecular phenomena from folding macromolecules to multivalent ligand binding. Coordination complexes formed between zinc porphyrins equipped H-bond donor sites and pyridine ligands with acceptor have allowed systematic quantification EM values for formation intramolecular H-bonds in 240 different systems. The results provide insights into relationship architecture, strength, solvent. Previous studies on...
New methods for the preparation of mixed NHC/phosphine Ni(II) complexes have been developed. It was shown that quaternary ammonium cation in easily available [NEt4][Ni(PPh3)X3] (X = Cl and Br) can act as a good leaving group reactions with bulky ItBu (ItBu 1,3-ditertbutylimidazol-2-ylidene) or IPr [IPr 1,3-bis(2,6-diisopropylphenyl)imidazol-2-ylidene] ligand, resulting corresponding NHC/PPh3 Ni(PPh3)(ItBu)X2 Cl, 1; X Br, 2) Ni(PPh3)(IPr)Br2 (3) high yields. The PPh3 ligand these obtained be...
The first iron-catalyzed esterification of the primary benzylic C–H bonds with carboxylic acids using di-tert-butyl peroxide as an oxidant is achieved by novel ionic iron(III) complexes containing imidazolinium cation. use well-defined, air-stable, and available complex in a 5 mol % loading readily starting materials broad generality outstanding sterically hindered tolerance renders this methodology useful alternative to other protocols that are typically employed for synthesis benzyl esters.
In this letter, an unprecedented cross-coupling reaction between copper carbene and nitroso radical has been developed. This radical-carbene coupling (RCC reaction) offers a novel approach for the preparation of various isoxazolines, which features construction C-C, C-O, C═N bonds in one-pot process. The synthetic utility our method is further enhanced by its mild conditions, wide substrate scope, simple procedures.
The dearomative [5 + 1] annulation of 2-methylindoles with new five-membered synthon was developed through cascade [1,5]-hydride transfer/dearomative cyclization in HFIP for the synthesis spirochromanes bearing 2-methylindolenine skeleton.
We herein describe the nickel-catalyzed C2–H alkylation of benzothiazoles with unactivated α-olefins by using Ni(IPr*OMe)[P(OEt)3]Br2/Mg catalytic system in which a variety linear alkylated high regioselectivity were formed under mild reaction conditions. This transformation showed good compatibility to bearing various functional groups, such as esters, acetals, silyl ethers, amines, silanes, and boronate esters. Furthermore, this is also suitable other typical N-heteroarenes including...
Abstract Background To provide insights into rheumatoid arthritis (RA) epidemiological trends, including prevalence, incidence, disability-adjusted life years (DALYs), corresponding average annual percentage change (AAPC), gender disparities, regional variations, age-specific rates, socio-economic correlations, risk factors, and future projections. Methods Data were extracted from the Global Burden of Disease Study (GBD) 2021. AAPC was calculated by joinpoint regression two-sample Mendelian...
The first divalent ytterbium complex supported by a diaminobis(phenolate) ligand, YbL(THF)2.0.5C7H8 (1; THF = tetrahydrofuran), was synthesized in good yield the amine elimination reaction of Yb[N(SiMe3)2]2(THF)2 with H2L (L [Me2NCH2CH2N(CH2-2-OC6H2-3,5-But2)2]) 1:1 molar ratio. X-ray structural determination shows 1 to be THF-solvated monomer, which adopts distorted octahedral coordination geometry around Yb atom. Complex can react PhNCO and PhCCH, as single electron-transfer reagent, give...
