Chronic anxiety is a statemarked by sustained activation of the masseter muscle, manifesting in both mental and physical strain. This prolonged tension can significantly impact wellbeing cognitive abilities, posing risk for range health complications. double-blind, randomized, controlled clinical trial investigated transcutaneous auricular vagus nerve stimulation (TAVNS) on muscle activity, pressure pain threshold (PPT), levels university students with elevated anxiety.

A new species of the Campylobacter genus is described, isolated from preputial mucosa bulls (Bos taurus). The five isolates obtained exhibit characteristics Campylobacter, being Gram-negative non-motile straight rods, oxidase positive, catalase negative and microaerophilic. Phenotypic nucleotide sequence analysis 16S rRNA hsp60 genes demonstrated that these belong to a novel within Campylobacter. Based on gene phylogenetic analysis, most related are C. ureolyticus, blaseri corcagiensis....

Staphylococci are prevalent in dogs' microbiota, with commensal strains being able to exhibit resistance and virulence traits, complicating secondary infection management. As antimicrobial is a global threat, particularly middle-income countries like Angola, surveillance of resistant bacteria crucial. We analyzed the prevalence, resistance, profiles staphylococci from dogs Angola. Isolates were identified using VITEK® 2 Compact (bioMérieux© SA, Marcy l'Etoile, France), their genetic...

A non-Newtonian flow behaviour was found. This result, together with progressive increase viscosity observed near nematic–isotropic transition, suggests that material behaves like polymer, due to hydrogen bonding. The effect an electric field applied...
