For early-stage oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC), the primary treatment modality generally entails surgical resection. However, role of neck dissection in OSCC remains controversial. The aim this study was to evaluate effect on prognosis patients with OSCC. We identified from Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results database spanning 2004 2021. collected demographic clinical data, including age, sex, tumor site, marital status, race, residence, income, grade, records radiotherapy...

Beyond recent related literature, which focused on spherical incompressible liquid inclusions, the present work studies an elliptical compressible inclusion in infinite elastic plane under static remote mechanical loading. Here, it is assumed that change of pressure inside linearly to volume with bulk modulus as proportionality coefficient. Also, role surface tension solid–liquid interface examined especially when size comparable or smaller than elastocapillary length. Our results show both...

The effect of a superimposed single tensile overload or compressive in block constant‐amplitude cycles on the crack opening and closing stresses is investigated using an elastic–plastic finite element analysis. results obtained are basic agreement with experimental observations. Following applied cycle, increase instantaneously, while imposition cycle small decrease stresses. A detailed discussion residual stress strain patterns caused by plastic deformation during corresponding profiles...

Positronium annihilation lifetime spectroscopy (PALS) was employed to study the structure and dynamic properties of glassy BPA-PC TMBPA-PC containing tris(2-ethylhexyl) phosphate (TOP) as diluent molecules. For BPA-PC/TOP blends, results showed that total hole volume fraction is insensitive addition TOP up 10 wt % but increases at higher concentration. However, in case TMBPA-PC/TOP a different trend observed. The decreases monotonically with concentration 15% thereafter slightly from 15 20%....

An analytical laminate model was newly proposed to predict the ultimate strengths of two-dimensional tri-axial braided composites under in-plane loadings. The composite modeled as a possessing four plies. Among these plies, there were three plies consisting unidirectional fibers along with surrounding matrix and one ply containing only matrix. A progressive failure analysis performed. series experiments conducted. present verified experimentally by using our other researchers’ data....

Bi-modulus materials have different moduli in tension and compression the stress–strain relation depends on principal stress that is unknown before displacement determined. Establishment of variational principle important for mechanical analysis materials. First, parametric (PVP) proposed static bi-modulus structures. A variable indicating state included potential energy formulation nonlinear evolved into a linear complementarity constraint. Convergence finite element thus improved. Then...

Abstract A Kerr‐type elastic foundation model is proposed to study the buckling of a beam bonded on top linear layer. The layer's lower‐surface either or sliding rigid substrate. present provides differential relation between pressure and normal deflection upper‐surface, reduces existing models when high‐order relations are neglected. critical force then obtained for both an infinitely long simply‐supported finite length, based simple formula which valid compressible incompressible...
