高速道路ネットワークの拡充に伴い,一部の区間では交通渋滞の発生が緩和されつつある現在,交通管制としての交通事故対策の重要性は高い.これまでに,臨界流・渋滞流中で交通事故発生リスクが高いことは示されているものの,分析に用いるデータの時空間的な解像度が高いとは言えず,事故発生時に特有の交通流特性を特定するには至っていない.本研究では,車両感知器から得られる定点観測データと,勾配影響を適切に考慮した交通流モデルで構成されるフィードバック型交通状態推定システムを構築し,平常時,及び交通事故発生前後におけるモデルパラメータの変動傾向を比較した.その結果,平常時との比較で事故発生直前において自由流速度が低下する傾向や,勾配変化に対する速度変動の感度が高くなるケースが存在することを明らかとした.
