Abstract Adding nanofillers to PLA/PCL blends change their surface and interface properties can improve phase morphology. Here the selective localization of CNTs organoclays as third component in blend is studied. It found that clay selectively localized PLA at whereas are mainly PCL interface. With a reduced viscosity ratio matrices, preferred from PLA. The effects different on morphologies In addition, crystallization behavior ternary systems also shows strong dependence nanofillers....

Burgeoning interest in supracolloidal assembly has reached the point at which field can seek so-called intelligent design rather than solely rely on evolution. Emphasizing Janus and triblock particles, this review presents a progress report formulating rules for of interesting structures. We discuss how to building blocks, bearing mind that patchy particles embody not just geometric shape but also chemical shape, determines particle-particle interactions, process be designed proceed...

The rapid printing of 3D parts with desired electrical properties enables numerous applications. Fused deposition modeling (FDM) using conductive thermoplastic composites has been a valuable approach for such fabrication. produced by FDM possess various controllable structural features, but the effects features on remain to be determined. This study investigated these resistivity and anisotropy 3D-printed ABS/CB composites. process parameters FDM, including layer thickness, raster width, air...

Oriented "shish-kebab" structure can enable remarkable mechanical enhancement in polymers. Therefore, the formation mechanism and practical application of this have been extensively studied. However, effect shish-kebab content on properties is still uncertain. Knowledge crucial academic industrial fields but remains elusive because difficult to control. In work, a self-developed multiflow vibrate-injection molding was used produce samples with different shear layer thicknesses. The...

Abstract In this study, we demonstrate that an Mn‐doped ultrathin Ni‐MOF nanosheet array on nickel foam (Mn 0.1 ‐Ni‐MOF/NF) serves as a highly capacitive and stable supercapacitor positive electrode. The Mn ‐Ni‐MOF/NF shows areal capacity of 6.48 C cm −2 (specific : 1178 g −1 ) at 2 mA in 6.0 m KOH, outperforming most reported MOF‐based materials. More importantly, it possesses excellent cycle stability to maintain 80.6 % after 5000 cycles. An asymmetric device utilizing the electrode...

Modulating the reaction reversibility can help escape kinetic traps and effectively regulate morphology of covalent organic frameworks (COFs). However, most current approaches focus primarily on thermodynamic factors with limited research enhancing pathways. Herein, we introduce a novel strategy that combines "freezing–thawing" pretreatment conventional solvothermal synthesis to enhance pathways in COF-366 synthesis. This limits degree monomer polymerization, facilitating structural repairs...

Abstract Thermal wetting can simply, selectively and reversibly join patchy particles into clusters (2D 3D) also colloidal crystals over the narrow temperature range of 1–2 °C. This is demonstrated with Janus (gold half‐coated silica spheres) immersed in a binary mixture water/2,6‐lutidine, such that relative strength gold–gold bonding through hydrophobic interaction silica–silica wetting‐induced attraction switched according to temperature.

As a biobased and biodegradable material that can replace traditional petrochemical-based polymers, poly(l-lactide) (PLLA) shows great application potential. However, its widespread still faces some obstacles, mainly associated with the poor thermal resistance, because molecular chains of PLLA are semirigid regularity. Therefore, crystallization rate is low, making it difficult to crystallize during molding process, finally obtained almost amorphous. In this work, entanglement density was...
