A diode-pumped, actively Q-switched dual-wavelength laser employing Nd:YVO4 self-Raman emission at 1524 nm and undoped GdVO4 Raman 1522 is demonstrated. With a pump power of 21.5 W pulse repetition frequency 20 kHz, maximum output 1.62 was obtained, comprising 0.54 W, component 1.08 component. We report on a diode-pumped Nd:YAG ceramic laser operating at 1442.8 nm for the first time. In our experiment, two different ceramics with Nd-doped concentrations of 1.0 and 0.6 at. % concentration were used as gain mediums, respectively. At pump power 20.7 W, maximum output up to 3.96 W optical-to-optical efficiency 19.1% was obtained by using medium. To best knowledge, this is highest LD-pumped 1.44 μm crystal laser.
