Galectin-3 [Gal-3] is an endogenous lectin with a broad spectrum of immunoregulatory effects: it plays important role in autoimmune/inflammatory and malignant diseases, but the precise Gal-3 pathogenesis ulcerative colitis still unknown. We used model dextran sulphate sodium [DSS]-induced acute colitis. The this disease was tested by evaluating development deficient mice administration inhibitor. Disease monitored clinical, histological, histochemical, immunophenotypic investigations....

Abstract
Congenital melanoma is a very rare condition defined as recognized at or shortly after birth. It may arise de novo from transplacental metastasis of maternal melanoma. In this case report, primary congenital presented during the first four months life, and was diagnosed by histopathological, immunohistochemical, FISH genetic analysis. Re-excision sentinel lymph node biopsy performed, which revealed micrometastasis in node. No adjuvant treatment provided. There were no signs...

Interleukin-33 (IL-33)/IL-33 receptor (IL-33R, ST2) signaling pathway promotes mammary cancer growth and metastasis by inhibiting anti-tumor immunity. However, the role of IL-33/IL-33R axis in neoangiogenesis tumor necrosis is not elucidated. Therefore, aim this study was to investigate necrosis. Deletion IL-33R (ST2) gene BALB/c mice enhanced attenuated 4T1 breast model, which associated with markedly decreased expression vascular endothelial factor (VEGF) IL-33 cells. We next analyzed...

Abstract Intussusception in adults is a very rare entity that occurs only 5% of all intestinal obstructions. Most often, 66% cases, intussusception localized to the small intestine, while jejunogastric and 0,1%. Since first case after gastrojejunostomy was described by Bozzi 1914, fewer than 200 isolated cases postoperative gastric surgery have been reported. Here we present anterograde intussusception, 15 years radical subtotal gastrectomy with Billroth II anastomosis 71-year-old man.
