Many events in news articles don't include time arguments. This paper describes two methods, one based on rules and the other statistical learning, to predict unknown argument for an event by propagation from its related events. The results are promising - rule approach was able correctly 74% of arguments with 70% precision.

Objective Cardiovascular diseases (CVD) are one of the most prevalent in India amounting for nearly 30% total deaths. A dearth research on CVD risk scores Indian population, limited performance conventional and inability to reproduce initial accuracies randomised clinical trials has led this study large-scale patient data. The objective is develop an Artificial Intelligence-based Risk Score (AICVD) predict event (eg, acute myocardial infarction/acute coronary syndrome) next 10 years compare...

The instability of hybrid organic–inorganic perovskites (HOIPs) in several electrolytes and the toxicity heavy metals such as lead hinder their application many electrochemical devices. Herein, an already existing Ruddlesden–Popper (R–P) structure tungstic acid variants a generic framework to achieve ultrastable HOIPs, serving stable safer alternatives lead‐based HOIPs aqueous devices, is introduced. An enormous improvement (of tungsten‐based framework) performance achieved by converting...

Background: Subarachnoid block (SAB) possesses many benefits with a drawback of short duration anesthetic action. Intrathecal opioids have been used to enhance the clinical efficiency and action local drugs. The present study was aimed compare intrathecal fentanyl nalbuphine as adjuvant 0.5% hyperbaric bupivacaine for orthopedic surgery lower limbs. Patients Methods: Sixty-eight adult patients American Society Anesthesiologist physical status I II both gender aged 25-65 years were randomized...

Present day portable devices such as laptops, smartphones, etc., offer their users fastest processors, advanced operating systems, and numerous applications. However, a large section of the are critical to available battery capacity its lifetime. This is because performance lifetime perceived by quite subjective in nature. It depends directly on user satisfactions, which usually expressed terms words. So, this paper, we propose user-satisfaction-aware energy management approach, called...

While accurate disease prediction from retinal fundus images is critical, collecting large amounts of high quality labeled training data to build such supervised models difficult. Deep learning classifiers have led accuracy results across a wide variety medical imaging problems, but they need data. Given image, we aim evaluate various solutions for deep neural using small three tasks related eye prediction: (T <sub xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML"...

A computing with words/Per-C based user feedback collection model for controlling the processor power efficiency is introduced. Needless to say that CWW/Per-C a very efficient tool in modelling human perceptions. Here objects of computation are words drawn from natural language instead numbers [22], [23]. Perceptions alone don't make sole criteria rather backed logic reasoning also supportive same scenario. In our present work, we have proposed new algorithm viz. UFOPeC (user optimized...
