The defect chemistry of polycrystalline has been studied by means the equilibrium electrical conductivity as a function temperature, oxygen activity, Sr/Ti ratio, and impurity additions. Reduction, excess , acceptor impurities all contribute to vacancy content their effects are therefore highly interdependent. effect added donor‐impurities,e.g., 500 ppm Nb, is dependent on presence amount .

Equilibrium electrical conductivity data for large‐grained, poly crystalline, undoped BaTiO 3 , as a function of temperature, 750° to 1000°C, and oxygen partial pressure, 10 −20 < P O2 <10 −1 MPa, were quantitatively fit defect model involving only doubly ionized vacancies, electrons, holes, accidental acceptor impurities. The latter are invariably present in sufficient excess control the concentrations through compensating except under most severely reducing conditions. Singly...

The effect of added Al, as an acceptor impurity, on the equilibrium electrical conductivity large‐grained, polycrystalline BaTiO 3 , is consistent with a previously proposed defect model which involves only doubly ionized oxygen vacancies, electrons, holes, and impurities. behavior extension that undoped in accidental net excess already plays important role. Comparison derived active content amount Al indicates <50% effective creating levels. magnitude small Po 2 ‐independent component,...

Information theoretic limits for random key generation in multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) wireless systems exhibiting a reciprocal channel response are investigated experimentally with new three-node MIMO measurement campaign. As background, simple expressions presented the number of available bits, as well bits that secure from close eavesdropper. Two methods generating secret keys analyzed context channels and their mismatch rate efficiency derived. A wideband indoor campaign 2.51-...

Scanning electron microscopy and probe micro‐analysis were used to investigate the microstructure of both slow‐cooled quenched polycrystalline BaTiO 3 specimens with a small excess TiO 2 (Ba/Ti=0.995 0.999) or BaO (Ba/Ti=1.002 1.005). The micrographs polished etched ‐excess BaTiOs samples, fracture surfaces showed second phase in grain boundaries triple‐point regions, whereas no was observed samples having Ba/Ti=1.000. Microprobe analysis gave compositions near that reported adjacent higher...

We consider two approaches for real-time end-toend over-the-air testing intelligent traffic systems using virtual radio environments. One approach is based on coherent wavefield synthesis, while the other aims at emulating essential features of a realistic channel in vehicular ad-hoc networks. Due to finite hardware resources, former limited electrically small systems-under-test, latter suited typical vehicle-to-vehicle scenarios. Three major aspects emulation environments our facilities...

Abstract Software defined radios are increasingly used in modern communication systems, especially cognitive radio. Since this technology has been commercially available, more and practical deployments emerging its challenges realistic limitations being revealed. One of the main problems is RF performance front-end over a wide bandwidth. This paper presents an analysis mitigation impairments wideband front-ends for software radios, focussing on non-linear distortions receiver. We discuss...

There is growing interest in physical-layer key generation schemes that provide very strong or even perfect security wireless communication systems. One such scheme reciprocal channel generation, where two nodes quantize state information to generate keys. Although the use of multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) techniques interesting this case since number random parameters available for rapid increased, MIMO may also more an eavesdropper. This work presents a new measurement campaign...
