Abstract A visible‐light‐induced metal‐free catalytic system was developed for the synthesis of arylphosphonates starting from arylhydrazines and trialkylphosphites. By using inexpensive eosin B as catalyst, sub‐stoichiometric amounts DABCO, ambient air oxidant, diverse were obtained under visible‐light irradiation. Notably, this is suitable gram‐scale reaction by utilizing sunlight an illumination source. magnified image
A novel and convenient silver-catalyzed radical cascade cyclization toward a large variety of 1,5-/1,3-dicarbonyl heterocycles containing chroman-4-one, indanone, or 2,3-dihydroquinolin-4(1H)-one moiety was developed, by reacting various 2-functionalized benzaldehydes, including 2-allyloxy 2-allyl benzaldehyde, 2-N(Ts)CH2–CH═CH2 substituted with 1,3-dicarbonyl compounds in the presence AgNO3/K2S2O8 one pot under mild reaction conditions. The newly obtained 1,5-/1,3-dicarbonyl-containing were...
An efficient copper-catalyzed radical cascade cyclization strategy was developed, by which a wide variety of 3-sulfonyl substituted indenones were prepared in one pot via reaction 2-alkynylbenzonitriles with sulfonyl hydrazides the presence TBHP and CuI under mild conditions. Much more importantly, indenones, synthesized through our newly developed strategy, found to own typical aggregation-induced emission (AIE) properties, showing orange red large Stokes shift (more than 135 nm). In...
An effective radical cascade cyclization strategy was developed, by which a wide range of 2-phosphoryl-substituted quinoxalines were prepared in one pot via reaction ortho-diisocyanoarenes with diarylphosphine oxides the presence AgNO3 under mild conditions.
Abstract A Mn(III)‐mediated radical cyclization reaction of o ‐vinylaryl isocyanides and arylboronic acids or diphenylphosphine oxides to access various 2‐functionalized quinolines under mild conditions was developed. With the introduction stabilizing substituents (e. g. aryl methyl group) on vinyl group, this provides a regiospecific 6‐ endo ‐trig isocyanides, giving number structurally unique biologically potential quinoline derivatives. magnified image
